I adopted a cat recently. I was meant to pick her up on the 22nd, but there were complications during surgery (apparently the surgical incision was a bit too large and they wanted to ensure it healed properly) and they changed the pick-up date to today, the 24th. I picked her up and she's just a sweet little baby, she's so happy to finally be able to walk around, stretch out, and lay on the couch instead of being cooped up in a kennel/cage. I saw her a while back and knew I had to adopt her; she looks just like my current cat, Mink. I asked for more details on my new cat (who I've named Tizzy) and was told that she was found in the south of my city as a stray and is about 4 years old. Mink was sold to me by a breeder in the south of the city and is 4 years old as well. Their similarities in appearance, location, and age all said to me that they may be long-lost siblings. Upon meeting Tizzy, I noticed that she has the same short-ish legs as Mink, the same silky fur and long tail hair, and exhibits the same quirky behaviour as Mink. I adopted her and I have her in my roommate's room for a week or so while I slowly introduce the two cats. I originally had Moose (my sister's cat, who she left at my dad's house because she felt he was bored all alone at her house, and who I took with me to be with Mink for company), but my dad missed him so I gave him back. I miss him, but I know he's happier there where he can see my other two cats (Timmy and Red) and be able to roam around without competition from Mink. (Moose and Mink got along well, but Moose likes to play rough and Mink doesn't. This way Moose can see the older cats but also won't be able to smack Mink when he gets excited). Anyways, I have two cats now, here's pics of both of them. New cat (Tizzy) is wearing the Cone of Shame, obviously.

So, some dirty Chicago teen was being "bothered" by a neighborhood cat, and thought it would be cute to pour boiling water all over it, and then post the video to Facebook. Just finished this guy up. I've nicknamed him Jet Jay because of his coloration (the blue and white on the back of the head are different colors than the face but it isn't too different). I've been working on and off on him since January 2013 (pretty much put him aside whenever anything else popped up). He is an older suit of mine but I hav e replaced a few outdated things (eyes mainly). Features: -23 inch head -Static eyes and mouth -Plastic eyes with hand-painted buckram eyes (sealed with acrylic spray) -Felt teeth -Fleece tongue and mouth -Clay nose, painted with acrylic, and sealed with acrylic spray -Nice ventilation and comfortable to wear -Visibility is limited directly ahead but vision otherwise is really nice (through pupil and iris, kinda through mouth but barely) The head is not lined so you are going to want to wear balaclava beneath to prevent sweat damage to the foam. The neck hood is also not the greatest (like I said, it was an earlier head) but works. Head only worn for testing and photographs. Comes from smoke-free but petfriendly home. 100% handsewn. Seeking to sell for $250 usd +shipping. Shipping is about $10 in the lower 48 states. Willing to ship elsewhere but be prepared for a jump in shipping prices.
