I love them. For me, fatfurs are big, huggable teddy bears. They not only let you hug them, but they may also let you use them as a bed. But fatfurs are also giant damage sponges. They are impervious to punches, blades, even bullets, and they can just laugh off these things. ...At the same time, I have a certain style I like. I tend to like less detailed fatfurs, though I like a few details sometimes. I don't like deformed blobs or characters that look incapable of functioning.

i know a lot of people give their fursona things like the same hair, same build. but I guess some people (like me) change it to represent how they'd want to see themselves. originally I had my fursona as I am, but I often made changes in his appearance so I can strive to become an idealized sense of self rather than what I am now. maybe weird, but hey, anyone else get this?

So for those of you who don't know, which are a very few of you, I was at my first furry convention this year, NordicFuzzCon. I was actually reluctant to go because I was starting to lose faith in furries about a week or two before the con because, frankly, furries are WAY too accepting of everything (including pedophilia and bestiality) unless you happen to be something else than a straight gay white cis male. So I was nervous. But, well, I had the time of my life there! I mean, a lot of furries LOOKED like I imagined; ugly, greasy, fat, wearing fedoras... but you know what, otherwise they weren't what I imagined and feared at all! They were really chill people and quite lovely, and I grew quite fond of fursuiters, those guys were awesome. This wasn't like that game convention I was at where I just cringed constantly and wanted to run away, no, I loved almost all of these guys and had no problem talking with 'em at all, making new friends. Basically, I love furries and I hope I can go to more conventions, 'cause this con was awesome and re-energized my love for the community. Thanks for being furries, furries. <3

So, some dirty Chicago teen was being "bothered" by a neighborhood cat, and thought it would be cute to pour boiling water all over it, and then post the video to Facebook. Heyyo, everyone! Just a bit of a quick entry here tonight. Bayonetta and Corrin have just arrived in Smash Wii U/3DS! As you’re reading this entry, I’m downloading the required update. To be completely honest here, I’m still salty over Corrin’s Smash confirmation; that slot that they’re taking up could’ve been used for a better character. However, when it comes to the Umbra witch, I’m super hyped. I may even put her up on the Main Pedistal, right next to Roy and Cloud. Of course: That’s if she fits my play style. The sacred art of “No Holds Barred Texas Cage Match”. So yeah: After I get Bayonetta nestled into my game, it’ll be practice time. Of course, there’s still the Link Vs. Cloud Conquest going on. I may do that first, since I didn’t participate yesterday. Team Cloud all the fucking way, guys! I guess I should wrap this up, and put a pretty bow on top. Fox Ramblings 1: Dream, YouTube, and Whatever Else!

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone! This is my first blog entry on this website. I hope you enjoy nonsensical ramblings; because that’s what you’re gonna be getting here! I tend to go on a million and a half tangents since my brain goes faster than Sonic the Hedgehog. Anyways, let’s open this up on a dream I had last night: It all started at an open-air furmeet. It may have been a Fur BQ, but I don’t recall seeing a grill. Anyways, so I’m going around, being a social fox; I stop to talk with a green kangaroo fursuiter. I’m not entirely sure what we were talking about though. So, the FurBQ continues, and I’m still talking to the roo, when a black, purple, and blue bus comes pulling into the event. That’s when I break off the conversation and go over to the bus. There, I meet up with 2 and Uncle Kage. The bus door opens and my parents come out. I say: “Mom, dad, this is 2 the Ranting Gryphon, and this fine gentleman here is Uncle Kage!” My mom has the decency to shake hands with them, while my dad is rude and just nods at them. I can’t remember much after that, but I think that I was trying to explain to them what furry was, and I was trying to get them to understand it. I think it went over quite well. You know your a furry when you dream about furries. Am I right? Now, I’m going to talk about a somewhat serious topic. Apparently, YouTube/Google’s staff have been removing YouTube videos and entire channels without rhyme or reason. IHateEverything, Bobsheux, and even the NostalgiaCritic have run into this problem. In Doug’s video on the issue, he says that YouTube channels are being taken down without rhyme or reason, and that some of the ways to contact YouTube’s staff don’t work. Unfortunately, that’s because the claims system is an algorithm; there’s no human being behind the claims, and the help desk. That, in my honest opinion, is the biggest fuck up Google has ever done. The forced Google+ integration is nothing compared to this. YouTubers, and the people who watch them, have to suffer because of the flawed system that’s currently in place. Doug’s channel got its monetization revoked four days ago; the poor guy’s going broke because some schmuck, most likely Derrick Savage, abused the broken system. If you can’t take criticism, then why are you in the movie/TV/video game business? Google, I know you don’t want to pay your employees, but PLEASE: Fix the goddamn copyright claims system! It’s broken, it’s exploitable, and it’s outright damning for your website. Take away the algorithm, and put some human beings in place. Thankfully though, Doug got his monetizing back yesterday. In his follow-up video: “What the Hell YouTube? Part 2”, he goes on to say that there are other YOuTubers who have fallen victim to this flawed system. Many of which are Let’s Players, movie critics, and other channels that display copyrighted materials for reviews. With people like Derrick Savage around, the algorithm is easily abused and YouTubers, big or small, are suffering for it. Again, Google, fix it. Now, onto something happier: Final Fantasy VII. Namely the remake. As Reggie would say: “My body is ready!” I can’t stress enough how psyched I am for this game. I’d say I’m a hybrid of Maximillian Dood and Etika when it comes to my level of hype. However, there are people out there who are the exact opposite of that. Recently, YouTube reccomended some Anti-Remake videos to me. I caved and watched one of them. Let’s just say that the person talking was just plain salty. All I could hear was whining like: “WEH! IT’S NOT GONNA BE GOOD BECAUSE IT’S NOT WHAT I WANT IT TO BE!” AKA: a potential elitist. Don’t get me wrong: It’s okay to have an opinion. But, when you’re trying to shit on a game that isn’t even out yet, you look like a dumbass. Okay, I guess I’m done yapping for today. Hello I am currently assembling a furry team for League of Legends for the purpose of blitzing through Season 6 and hopefully making it to Challenger Tier (I wish). So far two slots are taken, and I have room for three more. We play on the US servers and usually have nightly games from 10 PM to 2 AM Pacific Time. A decent amount of skill is required, and it is preferable that you are Silver, though we will still consider you if you are not. My newest project is a prear I've been working on. This will be my sixth head and I've dubbed it as a candy-colored fox due to the blue and pink fur markings that are planned. Here is the base: It's going to be static-jawed but wide open so ventilation will be amazing. I like to make the ears first: The inside of the mouth and the nose are felt. The outside of the ears are luxury shag and the insides are felt and striped fox. Its right ear is sewn while its left ear is just pinned- pretty big difference in how something looks before and after sewn. Eyes: Sorry for the sideways pic. Anyways, the blue is a plastic that cuts reaaaally nicely. The iris and pupils are painted on buckram (this photo is pre-sealant). I chose brown because cookies go nicely with candy. Some more fur: (Sorry, mobile is being a turd so this segment is above) Here the sideburns, forehead, and some of the back of the head is cut and/or sewn. The other blue in the eyes are foamies while the black is also foamies but I got sick of that so ripped the black ones off.

'Sup, so this is where the FAF community congregated to now? Cool, I guess this would be a good place to start over. Anyways, I wanted to drop by and show my comic project I'm currently working on: Hollow Point Sisters. Hollow Point Sisters is a furry X-Rated Action/Dramedy/Urban Fantasy webcomic series centered around a team of sexy, crackpot mercenaries who take on paranormal and mythological odd jobs nobody else can accomplish(....or want). The project is solely written and drawn by yours truly. The explicit content I have in store for it is aimed at a straight male/lesbian crowd, but won't get in the way of the story. Well, not too much I hope. Currently I have 4 pages up and am looking to update on a weekly basis. I'm still trying to settle on a "look" for my pages so... uh, hopefully the first couple pages aren't a major turn off. Right now the entire first 24-page issue(Go Getters Pt. 1) is drafted, so I'm looking to release some more previews in the very near future. These are made on ArtBook Express and I get very limited tools and only three layers to work with so the results are simple but cute. Please note that they aren't as refined as art that's been made on the computer. Fullbody pictures are rather difficult to fit but can be done. I am better at feral than anthro. Drawings will only be SFW at this time. Willing to try most things as long as it's tasteful. The following are base prices based on how long each type takes for me to complete (very complex characters might cause a slight price increase). Lately I've been liking lineless and color-lined but I can do black-lined just fine. Due to the nature of cell phone drawings, edits are difficult as is matching colors exactly. I can send WIPs of sketches, once lined, and once color is added. If more are needed, I'll need to know ahead of time. All final drawings will be saved under.PNG, some here are saved inder .JPG just for roomsake. So, a friend posted this on his FB account: Rainfurrest may be kicked out of their hotel due to rowdy attendees. This isn't the first time I've heard of furs getting a little wild at conventions, partying a little too hard. But geez. I guess that's what you get when you get a bunch of emotionally and maturity stunted people boozed up in a hotel, where it's not their property and not their responsibility to clean up afterward. Or so they tell themselves. I happen to know one guy who might be in his 30s or so, goes to fur cons all over the US, gets boozed up, and parties and goes wild, and doesn't care. So yea. Anyone know any more about this?
