I don't really want to have to rewrite all this, so let's just assume you know what Undertale is already. And if you don't, I implore you to PLEASE play the demo. Its a good indication of what the game is like, albeit the game gets harder. The negotiation+schmup combat is nice. http://store.steampowered.com/app/391540/ Anyone been playing this? What do you think? Favorite song? Favorite boss? Favorite character? Maybe you dislike the game? I beat the game on a true pacifist run, played the unfinished hard mode, and am now going full genocide. Its time to murder everyone in this game I've come to know and love. EVERYONE. EDIT: By the way, does anyone know who Wing Dings Gaster is and what his relation to the story is? Its a mystery, even now. Anyways, posting best boss:

So I recently bought this game on Steam for $19.99 and it's pretty darn cute. One of the reviewers said it's the best antidepressant on the market, and I gotta agree with that The main premise is you catch and farm these little things called Slimes, which are little balls of, well, slime. They come in all different varieties and can be combined to make hybrids. Combine too many, though, and you create a Tarr, which is a bad Slime that eats and destroys everything. You're in the shoes of this rancher who just got to the Far, Far Range and is settling in and building a ranch for herself. It's still in Early Access, but the devs seem to be improving it constantly and I just joined the forums to provide my feedback. I downloaded the game about 4 hours ago and I've already accomplished most of what I want and explored everything. So, yeah, a bit short right now, but definitely worth the money. I foresee it growing into something awesome. Also have a video of their trailer

I've got ideas rolling around, and I'd like -something-, some kind of goal, to keep me motivated to draw and put to use what little I remember from college. Lately, I've been considering tinkering with creating a game of my own, but my experience with such is paltry at best. Despite that, I want to try and make something a little more... I guess the word would be 'action-y' or 'engaging?' I'd like to try my hand at something other than a turn-based RPG or a point-and-click adventure. I know I've got an old copy of Flash floating around somewhere, but I was never terribly good at actionscript; even with tutorials I could never make a thing that moved when the arrow keys were pressed. Does anyone know any good resources or engines for creating a platformer of sorts? I know asking this question pretty much means the project is doomed from the start, but I need something to keep me going anymore.
