  1. Right so I ditched my old sticks of ram and upgraded to 16gb of 1600 DDR3, however upon inspecting on CPU-Z, it shows they're running at max 800mhz. Why is this? My motherboard should by all means support higher freqs. As far as my understanding goes RAM should be about the simplest piece you can stick on a pc, just slab them in and it works as intended. This works half that and I'm confusied why it's not using their max potential.. Some specs for you guys: System Name COFFEEPC-PC System Manufacturer MSI System Model MS-7640 System Type x64-based PC Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor, 3200 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s) Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.1.7601.17514" Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB Total Physical Memory 16.0 GB Available Physical Memory 13.1 GB Total Virtual Memory 32.0 GB Available Virtual Memory 28.7 GB Page File Space 16.0 GB Additional info on specs as requested
