Its take me about a hour to shower.

I use up alot of things like tissues, diaper whipes, q-tips, and paper towels quickly.

I let my fingernails get long because im lazy.

Same here lol

For my confession;

Sometimes when I'm walking out alone I get paranoid, and I feel as if something is going to jump out of nowhere or something is going to scare me so I avoid all things that could hide things or scare me; and there's even been a point where things started looking like human shapes.

My resident assistant came into my room to inspect it; and I forgot I had all my pictures of my sona Astus, my character Xavier, and some random anime picutres up on my wall (all sfw). He looked at me for a second after looking at a few picutres of Astus and asked "is that a squirrel?" To which I replied "yes, it is a squirrel".

Why do you have that on your wall?

I was using it as inspiration to try to get me to draw more, as well as filling up wall space and adding a little bit of personal taste to the room

I'm not buying it. While boarding with others that's not the sort of thing you leave out in the open.

My rommate is also a furry, and frankly after I almost got killed by a baseball that sent me to the hosptial I said screw it, may as well not give a crap what other people think; I could just die at any second anyway. Most of drawings are reminders of our friendship in some way.

Admit it. :}

Since this is a confessions thread; no I don't whack it off to picutres of babyfurs. That side is sort of like a safety cushion for me; it pushes away my stress and helps me relax. It's hard to explain but something about getting all 'babied' up just makes me feel happy.

However I do for some reason have a kink when it comes to using the diaper for number two; it probably has to go back to when I was a kid and I'll spare you those details as they are gross (not that what I mentioned isn't already gross) I don't have any picutres of that up on my wall as it is gross and really shouldn't be shown to anyone who isn't comfortable with it.

Last week i got fiber-optics installed. i completely forgot to change my desktop wallpaper to the ol' "safe for visitors" background and to take down my 'sona-self poster. (no, not for fappin' either. LOL) The installer sat down at my PC, stared at my wallpaper (SFW cringe) slowly turned to me and smiled. He didn't say anything! it was awkward because i don't know what he was thinking! He just went back to work setting up my new connection!! -And it's not like he didn't know what was going on. We'd already spent 20 minutes talking about internet crap and nerdy junk. He wasn't too creeped out though because we chilled and watched 4 episodes of DBZ Abridged while waiting on hold with his command center.

Still, though. ...that look!

Given that's his job, he's probably seen even weirder shit than that xP
Still, that sounds comical

Sometimes, if I don't snuggle one of my plushies for a while, I start to feel guilty for not doing so.

You'd feel horrible for mine, then.
Three foot white tiger, tiny white tiger, and small leopard just sitting in my closet under some spare blankets.
Neglected.

Alone.

To this day I still think FAF is the best furry-centric forum overall and the only one where I can express myself freely and not feel crucified.

i fail to see why this is a confession

you wear that statement on your sleeve

you repeatedly state it as if you're doing anything by it

i'm honestly just confused

If you feel crucified by everyone, it's usually because of a fault of one's own. Everyone ain't out to get you simply because of the fact that you exist. That's not really how people work.

You can either take it as an opening to self-reflect, or you can... you know... isolate yourself to hugboxes and echo chambers.
But that's your decision to make, yo.

I don't think that's really it. People seem to be more forgiving and furry-centric orientated over there, it feels a lot more laxed despite the still obvious shitposting and abuse. Might be due to not having such high standards? I don't know. Hell, even the mods seem to be doing their job (and that's saying a lot) and I've even unblocked people which is something I rarely do on any forum. I think it has gotten better, or maybe, it's more suited to my needs / wants.

Of course, I'm making this observation based on every furry-centric forum I am associated with, not just this one.

Honestly

Hearing about other peoples' successes really, really gets to me. It stresses me out, agitates me, and makes me feel worthless.

Yay

I haven't seen you post around in a while.

The success of others can be intimidating sometimes, but it shouldn't make you feel worthless. I'm sorry you feel that way.

It's best to live to your own standards.

That's not the enthusiastic and optimistic ChaosCalix I met a few years back. Have some faith in yourself man, don't measure yourself by the success of others but your own, you'll live a much happier and productive life that way.

Anyway, looks like I've stirred up some controversy. Good, this thread needed more attention anyway.

I fight with these feelings, myself. As an English/liberal arts major who has always struggled to get by in a world that's increasingly all about STEM, it can get ya down, trying to make ends meet, and those times I have wondered if I'll be able to keep the lights on, and the rent paid, and the times I haven't been able to----that's when it seems the worst, to fight off those feelings.

It's easier for me to dismiss them when my basic needs are met. You just have to see the good things in yourself, even if it can be hard, and not let yourself feel judged. I think in America especially, people really love to boast about outward success: computers, phones, cars, houses, and all that...so to me, it's a matter of looking inward, at what kind of person you are, helping others, and looking past the merely material.

Maybe I'm due for a post in the Rants & Raves section.. I would never have called myself enthusiastic, honestly. Maybe smarmy and witty, but enthusiasm is something I find pretty hard to throw around.

Honestly, I've managed to go the last year and a half without ever truly running out of money. I've come close ("less-than-a-dollar-in-the-bank close") but so far have managed to get by. I think in all this time I've only had to borrow money for food once, as well.. I COULD'VE gotten by without doing so, but starving is never fun.

Eh. I'll save it for now. Might do a post tomorrow in a more appropriate thread and/or subforum.

On topic: I'll confess the only confession I could think of was way too politically charged for this thread alone.

Aw, well, glad you have pulled through, OK, there! Been a rough year here at points, but have also squeaked by. Just wanted to try and help; hope ya feel better.

~

My own confession: I don't like Harry Potter, and don't think it's very well written, and have just never understood the whole appeal. I mean, in ways I can, but it's always struck me as over-rated pulp-fiction. And I also thought he looked really dorky in the movies; they should have chose a cuter actor.

Though I did find it curious that he (Radcliffe) had a serious alcohol problem he was addressing; in ways, that helped me like him more, and made him more human.

But still and all, I'm glad the trend has died down. Not that I hated it, it just seemed to eclipse so many other things.

I have a picture of me naked holding an avocado in front of the mirror on my phone, this was because at the time I just got out of the shower and I was home alone and too lazy to put on clothes, I was drawing and I needed an art reference on how one holds a spherical-esque object.

...this is going to be a confusing picture years from now

I'm extremely interested in the human body and how it works and all that jazz, and especially how the human brain works in the cases of murder and mental breakdown, so many of my stories include these themes.

I'm always more interested in how the brain handles fear, anxiety, extreme stress, and uncertainty. Particularly interesting is what someone will do in extreme survival scenarios where all of these feelings can be experienced. It feels really cruel, but sometimes I like the test the limits of the characters I create.

Writing is always interesting in that regard.

Somewhere in the Internet, that would be categorized as porn

I've experienced that; sometimes I wonder if it's the opposite of bad hearing and when we're in situations with a lot of background noise we're just hearing too much.

Difficulty recognizing speech while having otherwise normal hearing is fairly common among people with autism spectrum disorders. If I understand it correctly, the problem is that signals produced by audio fequencies near human speech are supposed to be amplified, but that doesn't work as well for some people, so voices are harder to isolate.

I have no clue why, but for some reason the thought of people on this forum dating each other makes me insanely uncomfortable. I dunno why exactly, but whenever I see users who are dating each other get all lovey dovey I just wanna crawl into a hole and die. I know you guys are gonna say shit like "SIDEWALK YOU FUCKING CUNT IT'S NOT YOUR DECISION SO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP BITCHING", but whatever, I just wanted to get it off my chest.

Wait, so you and... ooooohhhhhh!

I must confess I feel I need a graph diagram to keep track of the relationships going on through these forums. If everybody would be so kind as to PM me a list of current and past relationships by EOD, I'll get a CCB established and generate an ERD by COB of two weeks post.
