The story telling in the game was originally meant to shift focus to different points in her life. Starting off as adult in one chapter then going back to a kid in the next then teen after that and so on and shit. In the ps4 version, there's an option that Ye can play where Ye go through the game chronologically from child to adult.

Huh. That sounds pretty nifty. I guess I need to check that out at some point.

vanilla fallout 4, keep getting frame rate drops every now and then its kinda getting bad...skyrim was like this too.

joined the railroad and the institute as a spy for the railroad. Also joined the brotherhood for the whole intention of stealing their best armour. Got to the relay mission with the institute but i can't continue until i steal the brotherhood armour.

good game but only playing cause I'm bored and don't have much to play on my ps4 yet. I had a look at witcher 3, is that any good?

Just got through Punch Club after 12 hours. It was pretty fun, but did feel grindy at a couple points (luckily not for very long). I kinda want to replay it to try to get the rest of the achievements, but I won't know until the work week restarts on Monday if I really want to do that (basically when I work is the only time I can't play Rainbow Six, so I have to play other games).

I've been playing lots of K-Shoot Mania lately. Basically Guitar Hero on steroids. That's not me on the video, by the way lol. I'm not even close to that good and I play on keyboard.

Occasionally I also play Quake Live and TF2. I used to play TF2 competitively a few years ago, but I'm pretty much done with that now.

That song is an assault on the senses, fucking hell

I'm not playing anything anymore because my laptop started overheating, woo.. only way I can do anything about it involves taking it apart, which I don't have the equipment to do.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen... made a minmax str build and accidentally hit lv11 before getting to the guy who lets me switch to the needed spec at lv10... Do I restart over 1 level's worth of stats or do I suck it up, that dilemma will plague me for a while xD

I can't imagine 1 level will cripple you, just depends how much of a min maxer you are.

The Mystic/Arcane Ranger(?) I've forgot its name, was always my favourite class x3

One level makes barely any difference at all. Doing an extra level as a Fighter instead of an Assassin is .. like.. 2 points of strength lost? Maybe 3? Either way, it's absolutely nothing.

Honestly, min/maxing strength is a waste of energy. At best, you'll kill Daimon slightly faster with an Abyssal Anguish Mystic Knight build. If you wanna min/max anything, magic is the way to go, in my opinion. Holy Focused Bolt with a min/maxed level 200 sorcerer and a gold-forged BBI lv3 weapon (can't remember its name) can decimate pretty much everything, besides bosses (which it still wrecks in no time)

Also, agreed Magick Archer is a beautiful class

I'll admit I did go with restarting, but I'll bear that in mind if I accidentally level in the wrong spec.  Think the only difference it made was 2 less str, 10 less stam and 12 more hp or something of the like, no biggy.  If I get bored of stabbing stuff I'll have to give the opposite end of the scale a go ^_^

If you wanna talk Dragon's Dogma, maybe make a thread or something xP
I have DD and DD:DA on PS3 and I've done literally everything there is to do in it ._.; heh.
So I can talk endlessly about this game

Borrowed Yoshi's Woolly World from my younger brother. I was having mixed feelings when I first started playing because it felt like a weak combination of Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story, but having played through the first world, I can now say I'm enjoying myself. Casual-as-all-hell and slow-paced gameplay, but enjoyable.

^^^Another game I started. It's pretty darn cool! I occasionally have to just stop and pan around with the camera because it's so beautiful to look at. I never quite expected it to be as steeped in folklore as it is; I kinda like that tho. One thing i don't like is that there's a lot of gameplay elements that are either hard to understand or not explained till waaay later; I was about 2 1/2 hours into the game before I figured out how my life meter works...

I started a new file in Undertale partly because I wanted to record game play of the Pacifist Run (potentially for a video, I'm not sure yet) but also because my 10am class got cancelled

well I can't record on my laptop but I still plan on doing the playthrough anyway

What game are you playing?

What game have you recently bought or ordered?

What game are you looking to play?

Tell us about it here.

1) Slowly finishing up all the remaining missions in Borderlands: Game Of The Year (base game with the four DLC packs) now that I've finished the initial playthrough (39th Level Brick...can't remember the Class Mod, sorry).

2) Technically a tie: 1st is The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Digital Imperial Edition, which my brother bought me for my birthday, and on the same day, my nephew (uber gamer that he's become) gave me Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void. Incidentally, in both cases that was on my birthday, December 27th.

3) Everything mentioned in 2), along with starting to play Skyrim: Legendary Edition (installed), Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (installed), Borderlands 2: Game Of The Year (Installed) and Rage: Anarchy Edition (needs installing). For games I'm thinking of getting, it'd be Grand Theft Auto V and Fallout 4. (Aoup, I didn't say, sorry; all of these are or will be PC games.)

4) Just did! Woot! :)

Been playing a lot of Stardew Valley and Sheltered at work or when I'm sick of Rainbow Six Siege.

I'm sure everyone here has heard of Stardew Valley by now (unless you live under a rock), but it's basically a farming SIM made by one guy over 4 years and he did pretty good with it and is very involved in the community with plans to add more stuff. People compare it to Harvest Moon, but I never played that so I don't know. Mods are not officially supported (basically meaning the dev hasn't done the whole Steam workshop thing and hasn't released a modding kit), but the dev does encourage modding and there's tons already.

The Sheltered UI is pretty irritating, but it's a fun enough game I suppose. In case the name of the game doesn't give it away, you're basically trying to survive for as long as you can inside a bunker after some sort of apocalypse. Currently it starts out kinda difficult, but it gets pretty easy once you've gotten an overflow of water so you can constantly have 1-2 teams out on expeditions. I managed to figure out a good start after one test play through went bad because I ran out of space for the things I needed to build. Lesson learned: ASAP build a new room and then worry about building other stuff. My 2nd play through is going awesomely, though I did lose a guy because he was bleeding and I had no idea (one of the big issues I have with the UI is it doesn't warn you of such things except with little text bubbles, you kinda just have to keep track yourself or stay zoomed in so you can read the text)... Unfortunately, it happened right at the start of a new day, so there was no way to get around it. ;-; He wasn't part of the family, but he had some pretty decent stats, so I wasn't happy about that. Ended up getting a guy and a gal not too long after to replace him that had better stats, so it actually worked out because I wouldn't have been able to accept both of them had he been alive.

I finally finished Undertale.  I was half expecting some overhyped crappy indie game à la FNAF, but wow, it really went beyond all expectations, one of the best games I've played in a while.  I'm glad I didn't watch any of my favourite LPers play it, it was quite the experience to be played.  I somehow managed to avoid most ending spoilers, despite the crazy fanbase and all the porn.

Been playing Fallout 4. Reached the endgame. I'm bored

Continued playing Resident Evil 4. Despite its age it still is an excellent game. The script is cheesy as fuck but I'm enjoying it regardless. Hell it would have been a lot worse had it taken itself seriously. Instead it's actually pretty lighthearted in ways I can't describe. It's just a fucking good game

Started playing Team Fortress 2. What can I say, it's fun! I'm playing as the scout and so far it's my favourite class. I'm also doing pretty well, despite being at n00b status. The main reason why I downloaded it in the first place was because I saw DrDingo play it so I was like, let's get it too so maybe we can play a match or two together. I got too caught up with other shit to do that though... Soon, soon

Borderlands. It's the xbox 360 free game for this half of the month, so I downloaded it and am trying it out. It's taking a bit of getting used to... Been playing BioShock and the A button is the action button in BioShock, so I keep hitting A in Borderlands. But it's the jump button there XD;;;;;

Does anybody here have Portal 2 for the 360? I have one single achievement left to get (Friends List with Benefits) but I've only ever played with two people.

Alien Isolation.

This whole "unkillable alien" business detracted a lot of pleasure from the game for me. Sevastopol is a beautifully designed place, I naturally wanted to stop and explore it sometimes, without immortal enemy coming to bite me in the ass every once in a while.
