it's funny because social security is in danger (a big socialist idea) and yet they still fear the imaginary soviet reds.

Some die hard communist-haters even fap to Putin. America is kinda in a delicious cray position atm. Fun times, politically speaking.

To most Americans, socialism = communism.

I think it's hilarious. Trolling politic boards is also hilarious too. So many Lulzcows.

I ruined many-person's Christmas by spreading the gift of Lemonparty.

This thread kinda proves that even Americans barely have any idea WHO else is running for the Republican Nomination. :) Which is funny because, last I checked, there's like seven hundred people running for the nomination.  At least it seems like that many during the debates.

People usually pay attention to whoever's leading the polls more than the other potential candidates and their platforms. Because Trump is riding on the controversy convoy in the polls, people will assume he is the frontrunner or the winning candidate.

And most of those nominees will not make it, or will remain in the shadows due to lack of funding.

He is the front runner atm and has been fir quite some time. I know Cruz is trying to catch up, and Carson had his 15 minutes but it would appear that the right wing base prefers Trump over Bush (lol), Planned Parenthood hating bitch, and Mike Fuckabee. Jindel, Belle of the South, and Santorum have "suspended" their runs. And to be fair, they never stood a chance.

I see Rubio in the news but I never hear anyone talk about him irl.

Trump will even run independent if not chosen in the primaries. Which would be a popcorn moment for all.

I wonder how evil the two candidates have to get, before Americans stop voting for the "lesser of two evils" and start voting for someone else? Vermin Supreme is pretty much the only good candidate out there.

It is also recommended (albeit riskier) to monopolize all land along the Mexico border, because that will allow you to profit off of selling the border to Trump. :D

Look up a term "Eminent Domain." That's how Trump got a lot of his hotel land for cheap and made his millions.

Most of the common-folk Republican base like trump for his ideals, brashness, and "transparency" with his campaign. As they see it, a candidate without an army of lobbyists behind his must be worth something, right? The Right-Wingers in Senate and House equate him to your run-of-the-mill racist Grandpa who visits your family home every Christmas and talks out of his ass to the family about how great he is, how awful how everyone else is around him, and how his daughter/and or granddaughter looks so attractive that he would bang them if they weren't related. Sure, they respect him, but they do not like him because they feel that he is making a mockery out of the Republican party.

They can just steal private land? That's awful! Sure, the owners get paid compensation, but still!

How did Trump use this though? I'm assuming he got authorized to build, own and manage hotels, then used this to buy out private land close to or inside urban areas. Am I right?

Typically eminent domain gives the land owners "fair market value" as determined by government, instead of actual market value. So yeah, he found land in area that was very valuable, got the people kicked out with the help of government who sold the land to him for a "fair" value that's much cheaper than what it was actually worth, and built a hotel that was worth way more than he paid for it as a result.

You have got to be one dumb motherfucker to vote for Trump. The guy might be a businessman ('murica!) but politics, he has the IQ of a 10 year old.

He isn't even a good businessman. His company has filed for bankruptcy multiple times.

Hey, I didn't say he was a good businessman. Doesn't he rent his name out or some shit like that? Smearing his feces all over the place.

It would just really suck if somehow America voted into office a guy who has failed literally everything he ever tried to be good at, including keeping the company he inherited from his father afloat.

How'd he pull that off? Loophole?

No, that's what Eminent Domain is for. He got buddy buddy with some politicians, convinced them that kicking out the people who lived there would be good for the local economy, and those politicians used the government's power of Eminent Domain to size the land for him.

TBH, the other guy is one dumb motherfucker himself, and isn't even a businessman.

Not the same kind of bankruptcy. The one you typically hear about is personal, where someone runs out of money, losses everything, and has everything repossessed. Business bankruptcy is competent different and not a big deal. It just means your debt payments are larger than your business income (e.g. hotel earns $5mil a year, while mortgage payments are $6mil) and you come together with your bank to restructure the debt payments to either reduce interest, or extend how long you have to pay it back. Doesn't mean you're broke and out of money, and nothing is repossessed. Just FYI.

Trump has insulted over 1/3rd of the worlds population, (Muslims and Hispanics make up a third of the worlds population...) the only country I know of that supports his policy's is Russia. But even a chunk of them think he is an asshat. If Trump makes it into office the relations that have been built among other world leaders will likely crumble, the U.K. And Scottland have already started the process of banning Trump from ever coming to there country. If there's one thing that moron should know at least in business is, if you piss off your clients or your suppliers, you're going to have a hard time staying in business.

I really dont want that fuck in office.

Also im gay and he doesn't like it... he can go fuck himself :3c

I don't want to vote for Trump, but I also don't want to vote for a Democrat either, especially Bernie Sandpapers just to show off for my liberal friends. Looks like I'm not going to vote this time around even though I will be of age.

You could make a protest vote to a third party, or you could spoil your ballot, if you want to.

I've fortunately been able to settle on candidates in previous elections where I live, but I decided that if I don't think any of the choice represents me, that I would spoil my ballot, so that politicians don't mistake missing votes for apathy.

This is actually pretty depressing, that we believe some moron in charge is a representative of the whole population, and can establish or ruin our relationship with citizens of the rest of the world, whom we have absolutely no relationship to/with.

I kinda wonder what Trump's view on cars is http://jalopnik.com/it-looks-like-bernie-sanders-doesnt-know-shit-about-car-1749358500

I know it's not the same bankruptcy, but if you're a good businessman your business doesn't go into bankruptcy. He's still a bad businessman.

Sometimes unexpected issues come up, sometimes you can use bankruptcy as a strategic threat against banks to make yourself better off. He has lots of very expensive and profitable hotels and earns millions every year, enough so that he can waste some on this stupid campaign without relying on campaign finance, lobbyists, and PACs. That makes him at least a better businessman than anyone here, and better than many other private hotel owners.

Third party voices are almost never heard by the mainstream, so voting third party would be kind of useless. If only the people in the Republican and Democratic parties weren't stupid and/or divisive cunts, then maybe I wouldn't have so much hatred for politicians in this country.

You know shit's gotten real when I realize that someone like Santorum, Huckabee, or Cruz wouldn't be as disastrously bad as Trump, or when I vaguely wish Romney were running.

It's rather telling that even my conservative friends hate Trump, for the most part.

When I looked up who among my Facebook friends likes Trump, there was one furry, one Satanist, and one person who's part of my general disability group. I unfriended the last because we'd never interacted anyway, and the other two are generally known for having knee-jerk lolbertarian and/or hardcore right-wing opinions.

It recently occurred to me that most of the people I know who make a really grand production of being Independents Who Think Independently (Unlike the Sheeple) have some of the dumbest opinions of all, because they're primarily focused on which opinions and candidates will make them look smart and independent to others.

Hmm, regarding 'sheeple' comments, I think that Trump is only popular because their genuinely has been an effort to quash certain questions and opinions, though Troj.
Lots of people propounding political correctness have essentially fostered an environment in which those deliberately ignored and unaddressed views, have now erupted into the mainstream.

I don't agree with Trump's perspective, but I do recognise that he really is a wolf among sheep.
