Wow, i fucking hate how accepting this fandom is, you dont have to accept everything you know. Who the fuck cares if they cant help wanting to split a kid sideways with thier tiny dicks, they shouldnt be enabled to confide in illustrations of pedophilic acts, that fucking filth should be repressed and treated if anything.

But, but, not being accepting and hugbox would be bullying. We can't be mean. If we don't accept every autistic herp-derp thing they do we'll be mean bullies with our micro-agressions and be violating their safe spaces.

I'd be careful about invoking the "acceptance" banner in such a negative light when your gallery is full of adults in cartoon animal costumes. Most people find that stuff a little unnerving.

Also, I don't care for the term "autistic" being used for a generally undesirable person. It really has nothing to do with the rest of your post. I'm not sure that there have been any microaggressions or safe-spaces, either.

The problem is more, we do have a "safe space" for everything gross. It's called InkBunny. More people should use it for their nasty, dirty laundry over FA. It takes a month for my inbox to fill up.

Those things are just as bad, if not somehow worse. Any fetish that can be reenacted, and if enacted would cause considerable harm to someone, is a sign that you need help. Jerking off to people being raped and murdered is likely a sign that you're a fucked up person. You'd know this if you left your furry echo dougen and stepped into the land of reasonable behavior.

Not sure why I'm putting in my two cents, but here it goes.

I think people are....automatically attracted to things, as in we don't choose it. I didn't choose to be attracted to women, nor did I choose to find BDSM things enjoyable. However, I do. I saw a woman and was like "damn, I want that" and when presented with whips and cuffs and rope I'm all "please please please" but I didn't actively decided to want these things. It's just a brain reaction to being presented these things. For people who are into DRAWINGS of children or beast porn, I am lenient with it. Do I want to look at it? Not really, but I'm not going to begrudge them the chance to look at it. I feel like things like art help get those fantasies out and control urges. You see a drawing, it lets off some steam. If you didn't have an outlet, that steam would build up until you took a bigger risk, potentially spilling over into real life. So, in short, I'm fine with it as art or drawings. I do not support videos or actual porn.

OT: i think the point where fetishes dont really translate to real life is a big one. Most people outside of the fandom see the furry fetishists, people who have attraction to humanoids with animal characteristics, have this kink translate to real life where they would want to perform sexual acts on animals. Most of us here know thats far from the truth...even if furries arent real.

Same goes for rape kinks, incest kinks, etc. 

 

The bigger issue is not housing specific concepts in specific areas. Its not fair for people who arent comfortable with kink stuff to see those kinds of things.

 

...and for anyone who actually DID experience attractions to real life children or animals. They do need help. But we had this argument in other threads. Like gamingal said, this is not something that can be helped. The more we stigmatize these people for being horrible, the less they can get help for it. Accepting that attraction is fairly unchangeable is not the same as coddling a kink and the entire concept of it and allowing that into real life scenarios. It should be stressed, regardless of kink, anything that harms another unconsenting person is not a tolerable action. Period.

So random creepy art on the internet is the lesser issue, and in fact fictional beings in sex situations are more tolerable than real ones

this isn't really that bad content wise. it's actually kind of ambiguous how old she is so you could make the argument that she's older. it's ugly as fuck though and I don't get why artists think that giving characters shiny skin is a good stylistic choice (because it looks kind of bad most of the time), but it's not the worst thing I've seen so I'm not really sure what the big deal is. especially when there is so much other god awful stuff in their gallery

but I digress..

I have mixed feelings when it comes to this topic.I'm not really phased by it, it doesn't trigger anything for me, and most of the people who are into it aren't pedophiles in the colloquial sense at least. don't get me wrong though, they're still pretty creepy and gross about their fetish and that's really the part I dislike the most.

This reminds me that the other week I saw some fur art that was reposted without linking to the artist, but thankfully they had a watermark on it. I found the artist's FA... which was completely empty because he had ragequit and deleted his artwork. His complaint was there was too much cub porn on FA that he was reporting and the mods weren't doing anything about it.

So I look up his art on e621. Guess what I found?

People, especially on FA, do have the tendency to either get off on mundane-looking things and/or try to hide their sick fuckery by making their images look harmless, which they usually fail at.

It's like an inflationfag trying really hard insisting that he's not into inflation while drawing a picture of a husky being blown up by a tire pump up the ass with an innocuous title and description to throw off people that would otherwise call them out. That's a bad example, but I've seen it in the more creepy parts of FA and dA alike.
