It is debatable whether a suicide is the right answer but one thing is for sure: If prisoners are allowed to attempt suicide without anyone interfering, shouldn't every other citizen be allowed to do so and how will it effect our society as a whole? I can get behind the idea that prisons are a rough and it is no wonder if someone wanted to just die there or die before ending up there. In fact, most prison related deaths are suicides (on average 45/100k inmates in US prisons commit suicide). But life can be rough too and even if you're technically free, sometimes even relatable to prison life.
