And after all, if someone is really supportive and passionate towards a presidential candidate, they might want to push that candidate on others. Its like missionaries, but for politics. Not that that's necessarily a good thing, but for such people, its whatever gets votes. And if getting excited over a bird and trying to derive meaning from it brings in possible votes, that's all that's important. As for a redditor thinking of committing suicide because Sanders isn't as popular as Hilary...Well, people sometimes act really dumb when on a sort of "high" in hype for something or someone and it not working out. The person will probably get over it, however, it is concerning that someone would consider doing such a thing and speaks ill of such a person's health. I would hope that they don't and move on, but...Well, please don't try and compare such a person with the average Bernie Sanders supporter in some kind of generalization. Literally every other link was like "Bernie Sanders just did this and he is great because of it" or "Bernie is amazing and can win, don't believe the upperclass, this revolution will happen". Like the mods just forgot what fair moderation was and fucked off. Sanders has ideas that are genuine policy, but he's also pretty obviously demagogic. He's clearly not looking to adjust the pretense of Congress as much as play into the ideas of the people. My own philosophy is to accept that we are going to have preferential biases and that we have to work to look past them. I dislike Trump supporters because they don't research their candidate. I dislike Bernie supporters because they only choose the information they feel fits their reasoning. We all have a fundamental responsibility to accredit information that doesn't fit our dogma.
