Frozen Glacier
Ok, I own a Windows Vista, don't have any money to replace it, but all of a sudden, iTunes won't import music into my library. I called up some techy people, and they said, ever since the last update to iTunes, it doesn't import music into it from a Vista OS. Any my idea on how to fix this or go around it? My internet sucks, so I don't really want to buy and download all my music!
Endless/Nameless
Weird, that wouldn't make any sense. Can you drag and drop the files into your library manually?
Frozen Glacier
No, it would start the import, which cannot start.

If you drag and drop a file into iTunes, and it does nothing, that means there's something odd with the file itself. iTunes can be picky that way at times, From the sound of your story, I'm assuming you ripped the songs from a CD. Try using a different program to rip the songs, or just use iTunes itself. I have some more complicated things to try if you can't do either of those. Good taste, btw. Frozen Glacier
Well, I could use WMP to import it, and iTunes itself won't rip the songs out, because of some newfangled update...

Try that, or 6tails suggestion, open the containing folder and drag and drop the files into iTunes, see if it works. Im not sure why iTunes wouldn't be able to rip the CD; that's weird.
