Do you have a garden

A picture of your garden would be awesome, it's always nice to see you forum users as real people, rather than uh, forum users. My mom has a garden, but that's definitely not a passion I inherited from her. I'm not a very responsible person, so I wouldn't want to do something like that.

That is a Venus fly trap in its infancy. It needs that light when not growing the the tropic. It's a pretty dope plant.

I'm guessing there was an emphasis on 'dope'

Honestly I don't even know why I asked

@Nova Beautiful garden, such variety!

I grew basil, peppers, cilantro and mint... The cilantro grew like a weed for a while and then died and the mint overtook everything. It was a massacre.

Thats because they are weeds :V

I would be incomplete if I didnt have a garden of somekind.. Tomatoes, peppers, basil, cilantro, spearmint, lemon balm, arugula, spinach, kale, comfrey..

All Organic, custom soil mix, wildcrafted herbs, fermented plant extracts, bokashi.. all that jazz

Kind of. Right now all that's growing if baby's breath from last year. I think we are finally putting up a fence this weekend. Last year the deer came and ate everything, even the plants that they are supposed to hate. Once we get the fence up I have some onions, potatoes, and lots of veggies to plant.

Yes! Or rather, my parents do! They grow mostly tomatoes though. We did have some peppers and onions, but I don't know what kind they are.

My parents tried to plant a pineapple tree once as well, but it died during the Winter.

My parents are trying to grow a fig tree, but the fruits never finish ripening in an English summer.

Aww

I mean, it should be expected for both of us. It gets too cold around here for pineapples, and I imagine summer doesn't last long enough in England. Its a shame though. Figs are delicious.

It's not terribly difficult to grow a few things in tiny pots on a kitchen counter or something under a little fluorescent lamp or two. The only issue is having to water tiny container pots daily.

but the kitchen isn't mine either :(

i've got no space for anything, or else i would probably have a cactus collection by now tbh
