Tsuujou
For the last 4 months, I've been working on a Mega Man Zero 3 speedrun. But I want something new with the same sort of swiftness and skillful player input. What are some fast paced games with super agile characters/vehicles and in-depth movement systems? I kind of want 3D games, but 2D would probably be my best bet. Not taking fighters though. Vaulting over stuff, wall running, airdashing, bunny hopping. All that stuffs rad. I need Doom 4 and Mirrors Edge 2, I know that already.
LadyRadarEars
Prototype has some nifty air-dash/vaulting mechanics. If you do things right you can glide all over the city. Or smash through traffic and pick up some 'snacks' and a cop-car shaped projectile to throw at a tank. It doesn't start out very speedy, though, and there are also some stealthy elements and such. Enigma
3D: Bayonetta 2, Metal Gear Revengenance (or whatever the hell it's spelt), and any older Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden. 2D: The whole Megaman Zero series is great. They also have ZX and ZX advent. Umm... err... Shovel Knight?

Well, I would say look up older hack and slash games. Dark Souls (1-3) can be fast, depending on your build and you might not want to play online. I've heard bad things about Mirrors Edge Catalyst already. I would look into some reviews. I forgot what about the Tenchu series or Shinobi? Tsuujou
I heard it was still pretty good with some specific faults. It still has decent ratings. The biggest gripe I keep seeing is plot. But that's w/e to me.
TrishaCat
Have you tried Cloudbuilt?

Imperial Impact
I dunno, Strider's pretty good (it's just not as fast as MMZ is)

It was free on psn. A very nice Megaman Zero/Metroid feel to it.
Tsuujou
Oh I have Strider. I got super far but never finished it. That game owned. Just wish it was more colorful with better lighting. I should reinstall that and finish it.
SirRob
You should just play Ninja Gaiden NES again. I was gonna say I got it recently, but according to my Miiverse posts it's been a year since I've picked it up-- and you've probably played it already, but Aria of Sorrow. What a badass game. Oh I've most definitely bodied all the adventure style Castlevanias. Don't you disrespect me like that again, Rob. I will burn the Fox plushie you're holding right now. But speaking of Castlevania, I want to recommend you guys this game.

I'd be interested in playing Dracula X though, 'cause of Bloodlines. I'm not the biggest fan of side scrolling games, but they always have such awesome music. GarthTheWereWolf
Play Ninja Gaiden Black for the xbox. Go run on walls doing ninja shit. <; bit of a steep learning curve, but once you have it down you'll feel like a badass. You pretty much HAVE to keep moving at all times or you will die in that game. Ninja Gaiden 2 is also good one albeit less balanced.

Partially because I don't like taking my time with them. Where someone takes a week to finish a new Zelda, I'll have completed it 3 times. So I'm almost always on the lookout for a new game. y; I've either completed or at least played most everything mentioned so far to varying results. Except Shinobi and Prototype. That also reminds me that I've never played Infamous. I noticed an Odin Sphere game was released. How fast paced is that? I like Vanillaware. EDIT: If only we had more games like this. I wish there was a fast 3D on foot racing game with parkour, online, and platforming thats actually good. Best I can think of is Sonic LW 3DS (That bombass music)
Fantasma
@XoPachi Dishonered? It's been awhile since I have personally played it, but I do remember some very fun moments. I've looked back at the reviews which praise the ease and natural movement aswell as the deep worldbuilding and immersion.

I was hyped the instant they revealed it at E3. I can't wait for the sequel.
