We Need to Switch back to FAF

Protip: The worst moderators and admins are those adamant to be one. It is like the police, it draws people in who want to display power over others in a manner that shows they are probably a bunch of pussies in the first place. I wouldn't want to be one myself since I like being politically incorrect and would feel compelled to tone it down, which would suck :V

Oh well that's cool c:

That kind of bullshit would get me off socialising on the internet for good. Hope she's doing well.

She used to also mod ConceptArt's forums and some other places. Arshes was kind of everywhere that was an art community since she was very serious about drawing. FA was not the first place to rub her the wrong way. I believe she just got tired of poor management and drama in these communities.

Yeah, people of a more artistic nature are probably predisposed to being drama queens.

It's a site fueled by drama and emotion, run by friends with obvious conflicts of interest.

It's like a time bomb ready to explode, or more accurately NI3 which literally explodes at the drop of a feather.

Yes, the furry forum thing was the important part of what I posted.

I can only laugh about the most important part ???  :c..

God damn son, just god damn.

No, I get it. Like I said in that same post, the problem gets exacerbated when the decision makers are friends.

It's just like mixing friends and business, don't do it.

If you do, you'll end up running a website that hosts 50% art and 50% drama, with only a single developer working on architectural solutions to problems he never considered which have already been addressed in like.. every modern server-side MVC framework that's worth a few shits since the late 90's or something.

Now that is much more reasonable. My bad, I thought you interpreted my post as 'oh no i cant furry anymore oh woe'.

It could have been any site, any fandom. After being involved in something for so long and then have it all go to shit for the worst reasons would be enough to make me feel like the internet can go fuck itself. I wouldn't be arsed with any furry site if I was treated like that.

The way I see it: it is a part of me and always has been since I was three or before.

That's why I consider myself part of the community.

I've never really based it on the people involved or whatever stigma might be floating around.

Remove that, and I'd still consider myself to be just the same.

If someone else feels it is also a large part of who they are, they shouldn't let something like drama chase them away.
