Signatures: Do you have viewing them on or off, and do you use one here?

It's been ages since I've had the viewing of signature enabled; nothing against anyone's signature's in particular, but I find it easier to scan through posts with them off, and, the pages load faster. Plus, they often tend to distract me, and the repetitive nature of them annoys me: An avi and name suffice.

What's odd is that I do use a minimal signature, but often forget to change it every so often, because with the viewing part off, I forget what it is.

So do you find them annoying, wonderful, maybe a bit of each and do you tend to have them on or off?

I have them on because sometimes they have interesting things in them. I don't think I'd ever have one myself unless it did something annoying like, automatically logged out anyone who viewed it. But the forums have CSRF tokens so phooey. (Also it would probably get me banned)

I even went to the trouble of further shrinking the user info box in CSS just to make threads easier to read.

I just hide the ones that are too big/disturbing for my tastes. As for me, I'm too boring to have a signature.

I love signatures, and keep them on. I just block the ones that are too huge.

I don't have a signature and leave them on, I only block the specific ones that are too large or that I dislike.

I don't use one, and I have them mostly off. I just hide the ones that are really big.

i have no issue with signatures, and i often find them amusing, so i leave them on.  but i don't bother having one here; i'm not present enough or something idk maybe using my signature would make me feel more like part of the community

Been using Phoenix for the last week on mobile so no signatures for me

On PC, I leave them on and have a small one myself too. Small ones are acceptable. I do remember blocking a really obnoxious one but either the user of that sig left Phoenix or they changed it

I think signatures are a cool way to add extra personality to one's posts. I have them enabled and use one myself. Buy Nier Automata But I find it frustrating that some people use HUEG signatures. I've repeatedly asked for a size limit or an auto-size-down function and so far nothing has happened. I don't want to block people's signatures, because at some point said person might change it to something more reasonable and then if I were hiding it I wouldn't know. I think signatures are a cool and neat little extra on forums, but having a sig take up half the page is obnoxious.

I don't enjoy most of them, especially the really big ones, so I have them turned off. I felt it would also be the reasonable thing for me not to have one anymore, either.

The only reason I don't have a signature is because I'm too lazy to add one. I do keep them on for viewing, however.

Like a few others, I use mobile, so I can't see signatures a majority of the time. But I do like checkin' them out (& have one myself)! As Battlechili said, they're great for getting a peek at someone's personality.
