TrishaCat
Manga publisher Viz Media announced that they're going to be publishing the manga "Beastars" in the West! For those who don't know, Beastars is a slice of life/drama furry manga. Rather than say what its about myself, here's a synopsis courtesy of MAL: "In a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, herbivores and carnivores coexist with each other. For the adolescences of Cherryton Academy, school life is filled with hope, romance, distrust, and uneasiness. The main character is Regoshi the wolf, a member of the drama club. Despite his menacing appearance, he has a very gentle heart. Throughout most of his life, he has always been an object of fear and hatred by other animals, and he's been quite accustomed to that lifestyle. But soon, he finds himself becoming more involved with his fellow classmates who have their own share of insecurities and finds his life in school changing slowly." While I've not read it myself, its got some really hilarious writing and the characters are genuinely well written and entertaining. Well worth a read! Here's a cover to get a taste for the art: Source: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-11-17/viz-media-licenses-my-hero-academia-smash-komi-cant-communicate-beastars-manga/.139608
