boss fight came out of nowhere lol. The rock version of the boss theme was pretty solid though.

Now on Chapter 13. I'm heading out to sea!

Confuse orbs and petrify wands help.

 

I'm a little further than you (Chapter 14), but we're pretty close in progress. The game's really picking up, I think this might just be one of my favorite games ever. Now that I have a better grasp of how the game works, I'm a lot more prepared and going through dungeons more easily.

I'm in the epilogue. I still haven't tackled any 5 star missions and now I'm findng 7 star missions. Also those missions with monster houses are evil. "Oh, come have some tea with me~" *warps* "Just kidding~" MONSTER HOUSE! I'm so on guard now. In another visit mission, one of the buddies asked if I thought that the area was going to be a Monster House.

I use mostly stay away wands and slumber wands and confuse wants. Traunt wands for boss fights that are unavoidable. 

Anyone entering the Festive Feud competition?

I am. Want to grab the delibird. 

With Salamence I just spammed reviver seeds and now I've had a shortage ever since lol

I'm on such shortage too! It's hard to get into a dungeon without those. I try to keep all the reviver seeds I find/buy in my deposit box now. Don't know when ye need em. And money is quite a rare thing here too. I don't want to use my gold bars.

lol. I remember the first time that happened.  I was like happy to finally finish this mission (there were 3 more missions I had to tackle in that dungeon) and I was finally making progress since I had just finished 2 on the earlier floors. I was so unprepared for that. Didn't have any orbs to use other than escape orb. I didn't want my progress to go to waste so I just escaped.  Now I know better. XD

the story is really good right? It was kinda slow at the start tho but man it was quite nice.

Also Pokemon Picross looks like a blast as well. I haven't played Picross in years.

Yeah the Picross game is fun. I got Mario's Picross a while back through Club Nintendo; it's nice to have a more updated version of it. I've actually enjoyed all of the free Pokemon games so far.

I had a hell of a time forming my team this time around with the region restrictions :U only kalos and hoenn pokemon are allowed in, so I had to redo half my damn team because they were sinnoh and unova. I'm gonna get my ass handed to me anyway, but FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF my togekiss was amazing, and ain't nobody got time to level up another beastly togekiss :U

 I just played some pokemon picross and have to admit it is quite fun. I havent played much of rumble world aside from collecting diamonds from spotpass and internet. and shuffle still has me playing it. trying to get steelixite now. but im still glad i havent spent a single penny on any of these games.

most of my team are red cuz i run a full fire type team anyways. sides, im just in it for the special delibird, lol. i don't mind loosing my battles (cuz i can't bring in some of my pokemon cuz they aint red or white).

I was looking at the list of Pokemon in Pokemon Picross, and Zoroark is in the last area of the game... it's gonna take forever to get it! But at least it's in the game! I was going down the list and was worried it wasn't in at all.

Alright I got some time to play it at work today. I didn't have much to do otherwise. Man this isn't what I expected at all, it's pretty fun though. If I had know this is what these games were like I'd have gotten on board a while ago. It's also more difficult then I would have guessed considering it's a Nintendo and a Pokemon game. Admittedly though, I've been putting just as much time into the Picross. That stuff is addicting...

I'm doing a story mission. I reached the room with the stairs, and then got warped across the map with enemies who have a type advantage. I'm able to fight off a few of them, but there's one that keeps healing itself. I see that one of the guest Pokemon is going in my direction, so I pepper the enemy with Water Guns to stall them as they heal up. Eventually the guest Pokemon reaches the enemy from the other side. Instead of helping me, the guest Pokemon literally just walks back and forth a few squares as I'm completely helpless.

I just caught manaphy on Picross. I don't know where kyogre is found tho. One of the missions was to set him.

I hate warp traps. Especially on really difficult dungeons where ye barely even survive.

Traps are frustrating in general. But it just goes to show, you really have to be prepared for anything. Nowhere is safe!

I've had Zoroark in my party and have been using it a lot. I looove that its running animation has it on all fours, it's so cute.

My intended MM breed in Y required something from a safari I don't currently have access to, so while waiting for someone at the friend safari reddit to respond to my request, I finally decided to download Pokemon Shuffle. I'm probably only to be a casual player, though... As I learned from attempting the action mode in Bejeweled 2, I do not have the speed required to compete with a hundred or two hundred thousand more players who are better/faster/more experienced than me. Just from checking in and out during the day and swapping a couple jewels for hearts I'm up to the surskit stage. Have all three of the available megas so far (audino, kangaskhan, and sableye).

Does anybody here have a flying safari with woobat in it?

Warp traps can be fun though. Sometimes they'll warp you to the room containing the stairs.

I just use the Guiding Wand to do that. I legit have like 50.

Just got to the final final boss. This fight is ridiculous. Especially since I have like no reviver seeds on me. I dunno how to beat him.

That works too. Although sometimes its nice to be able to just go straight to the stairs ala pure seed.

Spam Petrify wands and orbs, and if you have blast seeds use those too. There's like 3 stages to the fight, and it's super annoying

I beat it! Petrify wands certainly helped, along with slow wands. Its my GOTY now. The Witcher 3 and MGS5 can go cry in a corner somewhere, and Undertale can just settle for being #2.

Although I'm surprised at the lack of a happy ending. I approve of it, however.

In my post-Super Mystery Dungeon hype I went out and bought Explorers of Sky. I'm gonna start playing it soon after checking out Super's post-game.

Just as a heads up, you sorta have to view the epilogue from a different perspective to enjoy it, because the focus goes from story to purely challenge and collection. There's a bit of plot, but it serves mostly as a segue to the postgame.

I used a lot of slumber wands and petrify wands fot my final battle. Totally worth it in my opinion. The ending was really good. And I was quite surprised since it's usually the other way around. Then again. I only finished the first gba mystery dungeon.  So I wouldn't know about the others.

AhahahahHAHAHAHAHA! GET READY FOR THE FEELS TRIP CHILLI! That game still makes me cry everytime I beat it. Seriously. It's one of the few things to do so. It's why I thought PSMD's ending was a bit of weaksauce

The Mystery Dungeon games are my favorite ones in the series, simply because of the memorable characters and stories. The Explorers of series hits hardest. You'll live through it, but it'll hit you pretty hard if Super made you cry.

Good luck! There were like, 7 missions for me in that one area, so it's been an adventure so far. I... actually fainted on purpose this time, because the Pokemon I was escorting decided to attack an enemy instead of run away. I didn't have a means to revive it, and I didn't want to fail the mission!

Here ye go. Took me a while but it's all good. 

Most missions I had on one area was like 5 I think. I remember that one mission where my escort fainted. Couldn't finish his mission after that since I've no revive seeds.

I lost again in floor 11 after a Whiscash spammed earthquake (my entire team is weak to ground, but even worse is how frail the guest Pokemon is). I'm rescuing myself now, but my teammates are literally useless. Maybe it's because I'm using a giant Pokemon, but for some reason, even in an empty corridor they actually go the other way from the Pokemon I'm controlling. I literally have to switch between all of them just to keep the group together. I was using the 'Let's Go Together' tactic. I switched to the 'Follow Me' tactic and now they're not moving at all! AND my Pokemon is surrounded by three enemies AND THEY USED AN ALLIANCE!

 

Edit: Apparently there's a penalty for turning the game off and on, hooray

 

Edit Edit: I finally made it through, your efforts didn't go to waste, Fox! In the end, I got to the locked door on floor 15 with only Trubbish, the literal garbage Pokemon.

Okay, guys, I need some help...

Been playing Pokemon Shuffle the last few days and doing decently, not a bad catch rate and beating most of the stages after a couple of tries. But now I think I've run into a wall. I'm at the Mega Gengar stage and no matter how many times I try I can't get past it. I just can't rack up enough damage to take this thing down, and I have no jewels left to exchange for coins. I have enough in my eshop account to buy one single jewel, which will at least get me a mega start and some extra turns, but will it do any good is the question; I've gone into this stage with a mega start and disruption delay and still can't beat it. Anyone have any thoughts on how I can beat Mega Gengar?

My current team is: sableye/mega sableye lvl 6, gengar lvl 2, liepard lvl 2, absol lvl 3

I have all the megas but one; slowbro is still refusing to stay in the damn ball.

Do what all the free players do and grind the Meowth stage endlessly until you can buy a Complexity -1!
