Kaedal
On the 24th, the first episode of the sequel to NBC's hit series, Heroes, aired. The new series is called "Heroes Reborn", and shares some of the same cast whilst also introducing new characters and plotlines. I haven't personally seen it yet, but I'm curious to hear what people think of the first episode?
Sidhenearlahi
It's promising.I think it's well said by now just how much the show went downhill after the first season. I stuck with the original series through to the end, where it was cancelled and forced to end abruptly and pretty damn unsatisfactorily. Even though the later seasons were undeniably bad, I found that I was able to push through on the attachments I had to the characters alone. The first episode of Heroes Reborn is promising. I won't go into detail because spoilers and such, but I would say that I believe it's a return to form, to the quality of the first season. But we'll need to see how it all pans out before I can say that in confidence.
Kaedal
I feel like the biggest problem with Heroes was how each season was basically the same. There wasn't anything unpredictable about it, and if a character died in one season, it was likely that they would get resurrected at the start of the next one. Sometimes, it felt as if the writers had a feud going on, and were trying to figure out who to kill off and who to keep.

But that really isn't something that can translate well to a TV series. Or at least, I haven't seen it done well myself.
