He can, and the deputy judges (IIRC that's what they were called) said that the issue of the house sale ad is "a whole nother issue entirely". He brought it up to the landlord who said that he disclosed this information, but we had evidence that he didn't in his ad (I printed out the real estate ad and brought it to the judges). This is illegal, plumbing issues are 100% mandatory to mention in sales ads. This means that he didn't tell the real estate agent either, because she has a legal obligation to disclose issues with plumbing. Now, both of them can be sued by the current homeowners.
