Like, seriously, I went into this thread thinking "I hope this guy isn't black" And yet, here we are.

Every time I find a report of an animal suffering some awful abuse, there's always some black kid giving some smug smile to the camera about it.

Not true. It America it has decreased over time. It is still a major problem. In the 1950's and earlier the police in the USA were in general not exactly nice to black people and other minorities.

As in, the call was for a person who was a danger to themself and others. But a civilian. Not a criminal.

You are absolutely correct. I have gotten worked up way more than I should've today, but considering how I seldom do this I'll allow myself to act impulsively for once.

 

If you specific unnamed people have been feasting on my aggravated demeanor and think it a victory, I hope you've had fun. I certainly haven't been able to vent all my anger (from various sources mind you) this efficiently in a long time and this has been good.

I have seen zero proof this guy is actually rich. I suspect he's just middle class at best.

I didn't watch the video and I don't plan to since my empathy for the animals is too much. I once saw a cat get hit and I still get sick to my stomach when the thought crosses my mind. That being said, on the subject of police brutality earlier and people waffling back and forth on support of police, I think the police are good in certain situations. And I would like to remind everyone that all media is given some sort of bias due to the article/video being created by humans. So, yeah, it's a hard call to make, but I'll settle for general trust with a slight dose of healthy wariness.
