#00Buck
Synopsis = TLDR Simple!
Conker
You condense your novel into three to five pages of text. Talk exclusively about plot/character development, and don't be afraid if it sounds like a machinegun of facts. It will. Do spoil the ending. Ideally, you hit your character's turning point somewhere between paragraphs one and three, though if you're going five pages, you can space things out easier. It's them one-page synopsis that are a complete bitch to write. Write it in the present tense but not first person, even if your novel is in first person. Though a publisher asking for a synopsis AFTER reading pages is strange as hell, at least in my experience. They're all fucked up in their own ways, but you know, if it looks like a vanity publisher, proceed with caution. Gnarl
Thank you Mikazuki! The spirits did indeed. I sent in the synopsis and with 10 minutes had back a request for the full manuscript.. I sent that in and he said to give him between a week and a month and then i would hear back...more to come!
