Kosha
So on some threads I follow, when certain users post I don't get a notification for their post. Why is this?

If so, then the browser is not longer processing messages/push notifications for that thread. F5 it and it'll pick back up. I can't find F5 on my phone. I get some notifications when people post in a thread I follow, but it's spotty at best.

I've got them turned on for AIM, never get them. Get them half the time for Skype. I have that skype problem too. Hmm, might just be an Android thing then. Socketosis
It's just polling using an HTTP POST request. I think it might be that mobile is just junk. Edited August 3, 2016 by Socketosis Grammar
Kosha
I'm not on mobile, though. And doing F5 doesn't make them appear.
Enigma
I unfollowed then refollowed the threads and it seems to have worked.
ArielMT
For me, following a thread doesn't generate notifications on its own. Coincidentally, it doesn't generate an activity notification for "X started following Thread Y" on the Activity tab, either. In that case, I only get notifications from users I follow. Replying to a thread does, and I get notifications from everyone replying.
