Astus Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 I did the smile experiment once for my psych class, when I dressed like a clean cut "handsome" individual and smiled at people only 20% smiled back, the rest of them usually gave me dirty looks. When I dressed like an "ugly" un kept individual I got 90% smiles back; both samples being 100 random people who were by themselves at a local mall and made eye contact.
