There are plenty of children in this world that need families and care who deserve to get adopted. Male pregnancy would just add to overpopulation.The problem with adoption is that there's so much red tape, and even more for gay couples who wish to adopt someone in the US orphanages. I really do not see a problem, with it, with the exception that if a Trans woman may get a uterus that it could actually cause damage to their hips. The article states that the uteris wont be hooked up to fallopian tubes, meaning the egg would have to come from a donor. The article also mentions the uterus being "ephemeral" and that it only lasts for several pregnancies.I mean, if research continues on its current trajectory, we should be able to grow reproductive organs for transplant at some point. You don't think they'll feel worse than self-conscious growing up without a home of their own their entire life? An adult who can't make babies but wants science to make that happen is prioritized over the kids who exist in your argument and that bothers me a lot. You're not even considering them at all in any of your posts, at least the rest of us seem to acknowledge that it's one of those things that sucks in many ways because someone gets left behind regardless, even if we do lean towards wanting the kids who exist already to be put first.
