Do you prefer common species or underused species?

I find both appealing, but I guess I like simplicity so I prefer common ones.

I'd definitely love to see a lot more people with fish as their 'sona.  Especially a non-shark, because those seem to be the norm for the aquatic crowd.

But I think that a 'sona is what people like and are comfortable with, plus what reflects them.  That being said, it's always nice to see people with underused animals as 'sonas as opposed to hybrids of commonly used animals.  Honestly, there are some pretty amazing creatures out there.
