Inspite of all the horrible things that go on in the world every day I see people, now more than ever, making efforts to help and do good in the world. They try to better mankind through art, science and technology and every little change we make in the right direction opens up more people to being understanding and accepting of diversity. Everytime I start to lose hope I see someone who I thought was some kind of asshole or wrote off as bigoted and ignorant do something kind and actually make an effort to be more open minded.
