Can we have the option to turn off the Recent Posts sidebar

On the main page there is a sidebar showing the most recent posts on the forum. I really don't care what everyone is posting about and I'd prefer not having it. I do know some people do care about that sort of a thing so I'd like it to be an option.

If you have Stylish / userstyles, you can disable posts from showing by creating a new style, and pasting in:

@-moz-document domain("phoenix.corvidae.org") {
.ipsWidget_inner.ipsPad_half{display:none;}
}

If you have Adblock Plus with element hiding, you can manually add the filter:

phoenix.corvidae.org##.ipsWidget_inner.ipsPad_half

This leaves the "posts" header in both instances, because I don't know how to get rid of that singular header without getting rid of all three.
But it does get rid of the post content.

I tried to edit that box, and I don't see a way to make it collapsible.  That noted, I don't know if it's because it's not possible or because I don't have the right forum permissions.

I actually like that side bar. Sometimes it helps me get to bad posts faster ;p
