Gryphoneer Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 In his absolutely uncontested and empirically well founded book The Selfish Gene, Richard Dawkins - the world's most intelligent scientist and history's greatest thinker - proved beyond a doubt that any organism, including humans, is just a vehicle for its genes. A gene may not have a will of its own, but it certainly behaves that way in that it wants to spread as much as possible, having as many copies of itself around as possible. It's the paramount biological, the paramount evolutionary imperative. But what about the faggots? They flagrantly violate this fundamental imperative! In that they consort with the same gender they forgo reproduction, and therefore the basic biological function of spreading their genes. Evolution, the optimization of the species is hindered if the selfish genes cannot engage in this competition of who has the most bodies with copies of themselves running them. So you see, sodomy is a net negative factor in that it removes potentially beneficial genes from the gene pool! And as you know, there has yet to be a sodomy gene to be found. Logically, rationally speaking this means homosexualism is not a genetic defect, but a psychological disorder. The only reasonable course to fix this detrimental influence on the common good is appropriate psychiatric treatment of queers, the use of aphrodisiacs and other psychotropic medicines, etc., to cure them of their disease and help them executing their biological imperative of spreading their genes through the other gender. Any trait is viable for the gene pool as long as it severs a function that ensures the overall survival of the species. There's no reason to believe that homosexuality is holding the world back, nor does it mean that it's net negative. I mean, if we followed that train of thought [that they're "potentially removing beneficial genes from the gene pool"], any person(s) not wanting to have children would be holding the world back and halting evolution at large. Also, science does not care about the morality of decisions made, only the reasons why they occur. Science hates nothing, it only holds it's interests. Why should anybody? Dawkins is a transparent charlatan, all his nonsense theories go against established genetics. We are not meat robots that are run by our genes. Genes don't dictate high-level thinking, and they are not anthropomorphic creatures that compete with each other, but rather cogs in a big, coordinated machine called the genome. And the human body is a complex interplay between our genetic material and the environment, as mediated through gene expression. That's three massive reasons why The Great Thought-Leader Dawkins' gene-centric worldview is utter bollocks. (And that's not mentioning how his blather has spawned the EvoPsycho faux-planation that men are "biologically hardwired for rape," a notion he wholeheartedly embraces...) Furthermore, Dawkinsism can't explain interspecies empathy. Why do we feel bad about animal cruelty? After all, they're a different species that don't carry any kin-specific genes.
