Nova Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 So i was three days in amsterdam with my sister and her husband and it was awesome. Nobody looked at me because of skin colour. There were many people from different countries and continents. Some people had a mixed ethni. The people talked dutch but also english or german so it was pretty nice and the people are nice. So many shops like for cheese or clothes and more and many restaurants, tgere were also shops that sold weed seeds. or weed related things. Houses there are pretty nice but slim and high. I went to the bloemenmarkt and threw my money for six bulbs. There are canals called grachten and you can drive through them with your boat or houseboat. Many people with bikes. There was a botanic garden There is also the redlight district were prostituts are. I dont really like that. Amsterdam accepts homosexual people and thats very nice. I have some pictures. The bulbs arent tulips bulbs but bulbs from other plant The two giant long ones are a crinum and belladonnalily bulb. The very small one is a scadoxus multiflora Then a palm to plant Two round amaryllis bulbs Crinums get really tall As normal souvenirs i bought a mirror for my mom. Honey waffles for my dad . The people are nice, the canals are lovely, the weed is everywhere. I recommend joints instead of space cakes, much more manageable because of the immediate effect. I walked past this bridge daily when I still studied in amsterdam! it truely is a wonderfull city, where almost everything is possible.
