Nova
What cheese do you use? I used emmentaler or baron or whatever its called but the cheese tasted like vomit. Recommend to me please.
Eggdodger
If you're looking for something more "culinary" (as in, not out of a box), a lot of people use Parmesan or Cheddar. You could even use both at the same time, if you wanted.
Zop
I second cheddar. I have also added farmer's cheese and brick cheese before, but they might not be in your grocery store (I have had a hard time finding them, at least). Also try putting in a little bit of mustard powder, it can make it taste better.
Zeke
Block or shredded Cheddar.
Chrysocyon
I like making my own cheese sauce from scratch. I usually stick with parmesan and sharp cheddar together, but I've mixed up to I think eight different cheeses together and it came out pretty good. LazerMaster5
Cheddar or Colby Jack work quite well. Or if you want it to be gooey, you can use American slices. Mmm, processed cheese food.
