Sidewalk Surfboard Draws Shitty Shit

Recommended Posts

You'll always have "Art blocks" in terms of wanting to accomplish something or not drawing because you're afraid your idea was already done/uninspired/unoriginal or bigger scope than you imagined. You have to take it as a learning experience if it doesn't come out the way you want. Not drawing it isn't gonna keep the idea in your head forever till you can draw it, so may as well get it over with ;)

It was very late when I went into that building. It had gathered my curiosity ever since I was a child. Nobody quite knew what it was, but everyone was interested. Nobody dared enter, however, until tonight. I gingerly broke the glass window and stepped inside, scratching my leg in the process. It was bleeding a tiny bit, but I didn't bother cleaning it up. As I walked, I heard a strange shuffling noise. I grew tense as it got louder. I froze. Out from the shadow came a grotesque beast, only illuminated by the moonlight, dragging itself by two thin, weak arms. It groaned and hissed and bubbled with smacking lips. It stared at me, and out of its mouth came a groaned cry.

"What's wrong...? I can't feel my legs...What has he done to me!? What's happened!? I'm a monster!"

I've been listening to the soundtrack to Spyro 3 recently, and I took note of how dark and ominous the theme "Buzz's Dungeon" is. So, I thought to make a little comic showing what would have happened if Buzz had killed Spyro. Let's not forget that Buzz was, at one point, a common Rhynoc...

I've been on a Parappa the Rapper kick recently. The last time I played it was 14 years ago, when I was only like 3 and had no clue how to play. This is my first time ever drawing him. I had the world's worst lighting when doing so, that being my laptop's screen and nothing else.parappa.thumb.png.28eaec5b0a59e0080ddc41edac8dd4fc.png
