DevilishlyHandsome49
Just did a massive cleaning of my computer and organized all my files. I hadn't done it for about...several months and everything was just looking cluttered and I could barely find anything and the disk space was running low. So, I deleted tons of files I wasn't using anymore, deleted programs that were useless, did a disk cleanup, completely reset my browser, put the right files into the right folder and now I finally feel like its a fresh clean start. Desktop looks clears and nothing is outside of a folder.Ah~
Summercat
I should do that sometime soon. Been coming up to almost half a year since I built my computer :
Jtrekkie
Always a fresh feeling. Did you backup?
Wolflich
I thought you meant like... with compressed air. Mine gets cleaned physically a lot more often than I bother to organize files: usually when I run out of space it just gets another/bigger drive. Lucyfish
I have a bunch of steam games installed that I keep telling myself I'm going to play and then I don't, lol. I never thought I'd actually need a terabyte of hard drive space, I never realized how lazy I am when it comes to uninstalling stuff lol
DevilishlyHandsome49
Always a fresh feeling. Did you backup? Onto my flashdrive? Yeah, but only files that I cared about. The Norton backup, backups everything and takes up so much space so I don't use it
Onnes
I usually tidy up my systems by making sure everything is backed up and then reformatting the drive. It's gotten a lot more convenient now that I tend to have things important already saved on either Dropbox or external drives.
DevilishlyHandsome49
To be honest though, I need a new laptop entirely. Even with me cleaning it, the laptop itself just looks...aged? Fan isn't that good anymore which mean I can't play my games for long periods of time without it overheating and shutting off. The amount of default RAM on this thing isn't that great and overall...I'm just ready to use the new Windows! Been using Windows 7 for about 6 years now. I want to use 8 or 10 now, just something different
Vitaly
And then... BSOD!
Sidewalk Surfboard
Now that you mention it, I should clean my laptop when I get home. I haven't done that in a while. It would probably help my laptop run faster.

Nolorio
I cleaned mine out too for the first time since I got it 3 years back, runs like new. Only I'm lazy so instead of organizing I just back everything up, wipe everything, and then put stuff back on as I need it.
Lisek
Wow, I never do that kind of thing, it never occurred to me. The only thing I do is uninstall games and clear out my download folder.I do feel however, that it is finally time to defragment my SSD.
