Must be cuz the environment was still sorta blocky. Especially with the grass areas. Would be nice for them to incorporate the built in pedometer of the 3ds again for hatching tho. Something more personal to the characters maybe, instead of a matter of saving people/Pokemons. That would be pretty cool. Especially since I reckon they've exhausted the ways that they can have an evil organisation after Gen 4. They should've stopped at gen 4.
