VGmaster9
Are there any furry artists out there who draw human characters, create their own species that are directly related to humans? I mean things like homo erectus and Neanderthals when they existed.

DrDingo
Considering nobody in the furry fandom really likes Neanderthals, I doubt it would really catch on. It's easier to do the Star Wars/Star Trek/Doctor Who thing and make an alien that just so happens to look kinda like a person.
Caledonian
the closest thing would be the Angli, but they are unrelated to humanss. they're closer to birds.
Nova
Yes i draw also human things. I work on my species "luposite" but they are non related to humans. Made of energy and organic matter. They look like humans but thats camouflage.

Monochromatic-Dragon
Yes, I draw humans. If I wish to be an illustrator, I can't not draw humans. I would like to draw them more often.
Vae
Do fantasy races count? Because I have a fuckload of those.
Vallium
Aliens are a good futuristic guess at human(esque) species, and there's been plenty of these for ages. Whilst...hmm...the closest to primitive species of humans are things like the flinstones and the croods, but both are not fantasy races You should see Amiirs alien people, theyre basically exactly human except for a skull which is elongated to have a snout. Pretty chill ideaqq
PurryFurry
Would a character based on a species as close to humans as a Neanderthal actually be considered 'furry'? I mean, I've seen some articles that claim neanderthals and humans could interbreed.
