Within only 30 minutes, they had removed all the barriers, swept and even washed the streets down, and had traffic moving along the roads the race took place on again. Very impressive. That said, every time we exited a large, non-smoking building (like the Lourve), you could smell the cigarettes of desperate smokers. That and there was a ton of graffiti.
