DrGravitas
I've encountered a few bugs with the new forum update. 1. Red tags are stretching all the way to the end of the thread headliner space 2. I lose the ability to create topics after certain kinds of navigation. Jumping directly to posts sometimes and viewing notifications, some times editing a post as well. This also prevents me from entering the posting box when it occurs. Closing my private window with the forums fixes the problem when I log back in, but clearing my cache doesn't seem to. 3. The notifications drop down no longer appears when I click the notification button, instead it takes me to the page detailing the full list of all notifications. 4. The 'latest posts' sidebar isn't truncating posts. Has anybody else encountered these issues or had other issues since the new update today? EDIT: After having it occur a few times leading up to this post, I've been unable to replicate #2 and #3 in order to take screenshots. #1 remains, however. EDIT2: It did reoccur and I was able to grab a few screenshots.
Caretaker
1, May be related to changes in the CSS or it may be caching related. If cache 2. I've not noticed this yet. 3. So far the notifications drop-down is working for me on the 'Phoenix-Red' skin.

Something seems to trigger it breaking and then those 3 happen. I can fix those by closing out of my private window and logging back in, but #1 remains constant for me. fennecbyte
The "go to top" button that used to be on posts seems to be gone. That was really useful on mobile.

Also, there is no longer anything by a person's post/avi to indicate they are 'on', even if the person is on. And when I hit post, it's seemed slower to actually 'post' for a while, now. Those are my main observations, bug-wise.
Feelwell
Edit: Fixed I apologize if I'm repeating what someone else said: On mobile at least, can't check desktop ATM, instead of red lantern permitted members to just have a yellow "member" tag, it now says "orange member". Can't get a screen cap on this phone, sorry. It's not really interfering as far as I can tell.
DrGravitas
My trio of issues (2,3,4) seems to be consistently appearing after making a post, but is limited to my desktop browser. On mobile, I have encountered a few other problems (and the red tag streching exists there as well). Sometimes after making a post on mobile, it will keep the text in the 'submit post' box with a message indicating that the message was restored from last time (like it saved a draft). I had noticed this feature occasionally before, when navigating away from a page, but it was unreliable, never had this message, and didn't occur after successful posts. The dynamic textbox for submitting posts has all the same problems on mobile as before, including not triggering the ability to paste text. New, however, is a problem with removing hyperlinks after having created them. Previously, you could click the link button, insert a url and paste text to get hyperlinked pasted text in the field body, then click the link button again, delete the url, click 'remove link' and be left with the text pasted into the link textbox. Now, however, (whether you manually delete the url or not) it does not break the hyperlink after choosing 'remove link'.
Fossa
Red tags still strething here. Also, no thingy that is green or any kind of indication when a user is on...which I think used to be by their avi. Haven't noted too much else, but have not yet tried this on anything mobile, except a Chromebook.

ArielMT
The leading tag stretching across the list is a CSS bug that appears to be new in IPS. I haven't found what's causing it, but I found its effect and a duct-tape fix. The CSS class ipsTag_prefix is displaying as a block element when it should be an inline-block element. If I add .ipsTag_prefix { display: inline-block; } as a new rule in the Firefox devtools style editor, the leading tag goes back to normal behavior. Theoretically, adding the same code in each site theme's custom.css file should duct tape the leading tag down. I don't know enough about the other bugs yet. Kosha
I've been getting a lot of notifications that I've been quoted in a topic but they don't say which topic. I'd like to know just in case I get a notification for something in The Red Lantern in order to avoid opening up furry porn in public.

Unlike every other notification about topics, that one doesn't name it.

DrGravitas
I ended up updating my firefox to the latest version, but I am still encountering the 3 problems (beginning with the inability to enter the textbox for posting) after having made a post on a fresh restart. I am looking into anything in my add-ons that might be causing it (maybe something with classic theme restorer).

I'll keep an eye out for a plug-in as well as the feature in the core app.

DrGravitas
Ran another test on my end with Firefox and unfortunately it doesn't seem to have fixed the issues I was encountering. However, at this point I'm fairly certain it must be an issue with my Firefox install or something else on my end.
