ITS HIDEOUS

You should've seen it when it FIRST happened.
The white may be gone, but the nightmares remain

I suspect it keeps asking because some of us might have private browsing mode enabled.

...well, no shit, in that case.

I managed to get mine to stop asking, but I have Firefox.

For anyone else using Firefox:

  • Bring up about:config (open a tab, type it into the address and hit enter)
  • Search for and find dom.webnotifications.enabled
  • Toggle it so that it is false.

That should permanently stop your browser from popping up, asking if you want notifications turned on for this site. But, this will stop that for every site. So, once this gets fixed you might want to set it back to true if you want other sites (like Discord) to give you pop-up notifications in Windows.

I can't figure out how to erase quotes. I'm not even trying to quote you right now. I just can't figure out how to get rid of these.

Quoting seems to be broken in mobile (again). In a desktop browser, move the cursor to the first thing after the quote and hit backspace. This will highlight the entire quote. Hit backspace again to delete the quote.

I also use Firefox. Managed to turn off the popup notifications by right-clicking forum page -> choosing view page info -> permissions tab -> and under show notifications I chose block.

Blocks it just for this website instead of all of them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was how it was always done before the update too. Heh.

IIRC, previously you could delete all of the text in a quote and then backspace again and it would delete the quote-box too. Now, it just kinda sits there.
