Saturday morning I woke up to an email telling me we were doing 8hrs on Sunday. It's 12's all this week. So many hours. @_@ Barely any time to enjoy myself after I get home because soon it's bedtime before I do it all over again. The OT pay is amazing, but my god I need some time off. Nothing but gogogogogogo, though in my case, it was like extreme data entry. We had to process so many checks in a day, and we HAD to get done with whatever came in. It fucking sucked. It's nice to "only" work an 8 hour day now and maybe have two days off a week over the winter. It feels like part time haha I don't get overtime either. Salary can be a bitch that way. (Not that I don't get paid well though, it's worth it). Back in the day, twenty or so years ago I'd work double shifts and holidays to rake in the overtime. I'm pretty okay with it. It's not like I struggle with any feelings of shame or self conflict that a 'cause' might help resolve. I already said it before, but I have all the 'grown up stuff' covered, so if I wan to spend my time doing full on ABDL kink or just chilling in my pajamas playing Sonic, that's my time to use as I want and I earned it. Also, god damn, I got word we'll be on 12's like half way into December or so. I mean, it's money but... There's a point where money just isn't good enough, you know? Starting yesterday they started catering our lunches instead of just giving us a 30min lunch break.
