Anyone use Tidal here? I got a free trial to listen to Beyonce's new album and I'm pretty impressed with it so far. It's just a shame it's so damn expensive, because the FLAC streaming option might have swung me if it was cheaper, but I use Spotify premium which I get 50% off currently.

I keep seeing this video on social media of a "lesbian" being kicked out of a woman's bathroom by police. "She" looks young, probably in teens, wearing a red shirt that goes down to her crotch (looks like a Deadpool shirt or hoodie), and a backwards baseball cap.

I have no idea what the gender of the person is. From the video "she" actually looks like a teen boy with shoulder length wavy hair. But, could be trans female. Who knows.

But can we please just bring up the fact she's dressed like a fucking douche? Really? Long shirt that goes down to the legs? Backwards baseball cap? Only fake ass white gangsters who strolled out of the Appalachian trailer park dress like that. She should have been kicked off the premises for dressing like a fucking idiot. Yea, fuck your fake-gangster backwards cap.

Edit: Here's the video. What the fuck is she doing with her hand, throwing fake gang signs? "Look I'm gangsta cause I can point my fingers in odd directions."
Yea, would have thrown her out of the building myself for being so white trash.

Those gang hands.. are we back in the 90's? Rofl.. cops were perfectly within their right to do this. Feminists should just really shut up with the pathetic "omg harassed!" thing. (and yes, feminists are currently using this to show how bad the male cops are all over the world).
Can't show your gender, gtfo. It's that simple.

Ahahahaha.

I said the same thing on social media, now a friend's pissed at me. "She can dress any way she wants without being judged..."

Really. Really? Are we getting to the point of being so politically correct that we can't criticize people who are gay, lesbian, or trans whatsoever, lest we be bigoted? We can't criticize them on things other than their sexual orientation or gender identity? Like the stupid gang signs and backwards hat?

Well shit. I guess I'll just go around being uber PC lest I offend someone. Actually no, fuck that... grow a pair America.

Where I live in the UK, it was sunny and very nice this morning. As I was driving home at about 1pm, it clouded over and started snowing. I live in the south of the UK as well, and we never get snow where I live - and when we do we only get it in the middle of winter.

Weather is weird, yo.

I've had spring snow before, it is almost more common than winter snow. (I'm also southern UK) I don't know if it snowed here though this time, because I've only just gotten back.

I should clarify. The map I linked isn't current weather. It's NOAA (American meteorological agency) Storm Prediction Center. That's their modeled forecast for severe weather chances today (as in, hail and tornadoes). That big red spot is Moderate Probability, or the second-highest probability for severe storms. I've actually never seen Moderate Probability invoked until now.

Reading the actual reports it sounds like they're expecting large hail and possibly derecho events (a derecho is a straight-line wind storm with winds that can exceed 85mph/125km/h. They're capable of anything from flattening a field of corn to blowing down part of a forest.

The remnants are supposed to hit me (in northeast Texas) at around 1am (13 hours from now)

Every 5 minutes, the telecon is beset by waves of interference that sounds like somebody picking a stage mic with their fingernail. I can't believe the host had to tell people to mute their phone unless they're going to talk. Basic, obvious stuff.

2 1/2 hours left in this turkey.

Eh, my life has been pretty damn boring for the last several months, I honestly want a severe storm to hit Abilene and make things more interesting.

Abilene TX? You're in luck then -- you too @6tails -- SPC's updated their models and now both Abilene and DFW both look to be in the "moderate risk" area.

I met a werewolf today. Not an actual one but he had the syndrome that covers your body in hair. Nice fellow he was.

This planet is full of interesting people.

What if he was a furry who also suited as wolf?

Somebody would tell him, "y'know, you're not ACTUALLY a werewolf."

Then he takes off his fursuit head.

"oh, I guess you really are."

This can be taken in so many ways. Especially on a furry board.

Also, for all you guys in the line of those storms, you do live in Tornado Alley... so yea.

Well, "Tornado Alley" is like, the middle third of the country, maybe even more than a third. Hell, according to SPC's climatology the only place in this country that doesn't get tornadoes is west of the Rockies.

Abilene Texas is the southern part of tornado alley, so yeah.

Its currently hot and humid as hell right now, so perfect for a storm.

Just checked a Doppler radar and outside, there's a storm coming for me. image.png

A particular co-worker was absent today and it has been delightfully calmer and quieter for it.

Is that because of their absence or a coincidence that it has been calm but they just happened to be off today?

Well, ok, the four-hour teleconference might have helped that a bit. But! The time that wasn't spent sitting there listening to people be told to mute their feedback-inducing phones for the 30th time was significantly less noise-filled.
