In only a year I've learned about the most vile,, perverted, strange, incredibly awkward, self, and corrupt parts of this fandom... Buuuuuuut I've always met many many cool people, artists who not only inspired me but I ended up befriending. Started doing activities I never thought I'd do. Learn about different ways of putting myself out there and improving on my skills. Most of all, I've been learning from so many people on how to be a better person and have been able to help others feeling down along the way. I mean, I discovered the fandom sometime in 2006, joined FA in 2009, but never got into the community until January of 2015 for New Year's stuff. It's weird, but not too bad. The English dub was truncated where they took out some of the awkward stuff, so we'd have to watch it in Danish for the full effect. I've heard it gets exponentially worse as the franchise went on, though. And he's kinda cute, I would draw so much Hugo homoerotica.
