I currently have four canker sores. Kill me.

I have only one. But it's on my lip, and I keep wanting to pick at it with my teeth.

Holy shit, it's going to possibly breach 120F tomorrow in Phoenix and/or Vegas.

I thought my 105F temps were gonna be bad.

That's almost 49C for the rest of you.

Hello global warming my old friend...

Oh sweet jesus. I think I've found my dream car and they just fucking listed it on Craigslist today. Focus 6 speed hatch with custom bumpers and trim and custom sound system. I just have to calm my roll here because it may have serious issues that may make me walk away from it, but otherwise, I'd consider buying it...

Yes, take your time. Make sure you look over it thoroughly. I gave @Battlechili some advice when they were talking about getting a car, might be useful for you too.

It was 77F where I live today and my work had me out on trolley-gathering duty.

You know the UK always has shit weather when I felt like I was going to pass out in puny heat like that lol

Drink more water.

'Pass out' may have been a hyperbole, as I regularly drank water throughout the day... but I was 1000% sweatier and more exhausted than I would have been on an average UK day.

A lot of humidity in the air maybe?

Today it's 31C/87F

low humidity so I might actually go outside to do something

I've no idea. It was sweltering hot inside the store I work at too, which didn't really help anything.

Digging your new avatar btw!

Sigh. I put 30k miles a year on my car, half of it highway.... and my friends keep suggesting I buy cars with like 200k miles on them already.
Can I just, exchange my friends for new ones? Maybe at walmart?

If furries have already found a way with size difference, than the real world can find a way too.

After-hours monitor duty.

It's my turn again and it coincides with the hypersensitivity brought on by the major-rollout. Thus I am being required to be in the office an hour early and theoretically being asked to stay an hour late (not happening, not if they want me home in time to monitor primetime.) Regardless, I will need to monitor the system for further critical errors until Midnight. All for the next 2 weeks.

This is going to suck.

Edit: I got my timezones screwed up, turns out I won't have to be in an hour early. Yay! Still have to monitor to midnight, though.

Emt's took my roommate to the hospital at about 230, 3am this morning. I'm missing work today because I couldn't stop anxiety build up... lack of sleep and hyper sensitivity to loud noises when sleep deprived helped, so woo!

I need more discord chats.

Listening to people with Dutch, Luxembourg and Flemish accents is weird, because sometimes they sound very similar to an English accent and then I am surprised when they return to sounding continental.

I  really want to learn Flemish

Ah, a nice relaxing meeting. A good break from the frantic pace of today. The hold music is some generic Spanish guitar.

Edit: Meeting lasted about 15 min and OH GOD THEY CHANGED THE DESIGN AGAIN EARLIER AND DIDN'T MENTION IT IN THE SPEC! WHY?!

Right in the feels. *crai*

Umm... he's clearly in denial about being a furry.

And his videos piss me off. He'll take some stereotype or radical thing left-wingers do and be like 'haha look at these lefties being idiots!!!' thinking as though it represents any kind of collective opinion. It's not just him who's guilty of this.

And to be fair, he's nowhere near as bad as some others.

He is right that we've ruined the internet...but in a sexy way.

All furries really do is help bring people on the internet stuck in the closet out into the open, in a glorious display of fox-on-anything action. I can't count the number of 'welp, that's me gay' posts I've read over the years.

Bronies and Minions memes ruined the internet.

At my university these stereotypical opinions are, perhaps to one's surprise, pretty normal. The 'Rhodes must fall' campaign which is the subject of some of the videos happened in this city, for example.

Indeed an argument erupted about cultural appropriation among my cohort (who apparently think that Iggy azalea's music sounds 'too black' and, being a white woman, that she is a cultural thief who is causing the ongoing systematic oppression of black women) a while ago and it was about 14 verses 2, with the other woman who I knew agreed with me remaining silent because she didn't want to get into everybody else's bad books.

So the radical stereotype who we might imagine is a fiction actually does exist. I thought it was some kind of joke when it started, but nope, it's serious. One fellow student even told me that the works of Tolkien are reprehensible nordic supremacist propaganda which fuels racism...she hadn't even read any of the books.

If we're going off what other people in our places of education believe, then I can argue in completely the opposite direction. Let's take an issue that gets associated with left-wingers, that is incredibly annoying, and has been argued against very very often - these bullshit 'sexual orientations' that people make up for themselves when in reality they're simply just preferences - something like giving a name and a pride flag to 'initially being attracted to someone but then that attraction fades over time.' That's a complete crock of shit right? Well I brought this up naturally in my English class today, and everyone in there agreed that although they agree with basic stereotypical left-wing ideas, such as economic values, social awareness and whatever else, things that are completely unrealistic and radical are just that - a complete crock of shit.

I'm not saying that these opinions don't exist, because these videos wouldn't exist if people didn't hold these dumb as fuck beliefs. But here's what irks me about it:

A lot of these anti-left channels (not really tldr to be fair) will harp on about how these lefties are 'intolerant' - when they are just as intolerant and ignorant.

It takes a completely skewed representation of what liberal people like myself truly believe, and warps it so that people are naturally bound to disagree with the idea they're arguing against (because it's naturally stupid) and garner support for their ideas in that way (again, it's not really tldr who does this. In fact I'm watching his #VoteTrumpGetDumped video right now and it makes an unbelievable amount of sense so far.

I understand it's not really black and white in that you're either a 'liberal' or you're not but that's just the way I think about this. It goes the other way too. I get just as pissed off reading stuff on Huffington Post or other left-wing platforms as I do things like this because they're doing exactly the same thing.

It was nowhere near as depressing as seeing students who are meant to be leading the intellectual world tomorrow

I edited out the rest of your post because if I read it twice I might cry.

Don't worry, these people will not be leaders of anything. They'll either get their collective heads out of their arses and grow up, or dropout. The ones that don't change and still graduate somehow will never be allowed by actual experts to get near anything important. The only exception to this seems to be anything political in nature.

Criticize them enough and they'll understand what's wrong.

You have to give them enough space to learn and apply what is taught. If it's just another passing fad of this age,  just let it be.

So far,  the cause seems noble. That's probably why they still stand.
