Spot
Oh, there are many arguments on that topic, most which fall under the cultural tree. Some say 18 (but that's really just being of legal age), others say 21 (again, legal age for many things), but the one I hear the most is when you turn 30. Well that's what I thought, too. Some say it's when you have a full time job, move out, start a family or all of the former, but many of the 30+ people I know say older folk treat you differently. Almost like you're a distinguished, well rounded member of society (probably due to all the former).

DrGravitas
There is less than 1 week to the build date. The task is being tested as best it can be with virtually no useable data and the fact that we still can manage to get the 3rd party's external sever configured to allow us to connect. They have now decreed that we are no longet to use the Testing Database's credentials and have been provided new ones. The new credentials do not work and kills our db connection when we try to run a query. Less than. One. Week. I love this company. In all fairness, I did have 2 other tasks go in without a problem. Ever with all the insanity surrounding this one task, it's still very likely to make it in in time for the build. Plus, we're a consulting company, providing software consulting/dev/support to client businesses and government and usually at a flat rate. Generally, that means we get paid even if the client's idea doesn't work out. So what we DO tend to make is money. For the past 3 years we've beaten quarterly net profit estimates. Last quarter we made over 700 million in net profits.

Sarcastic Coffeecup
So today was a fun day. Started off as a casual day at work, during which I found a dead bird. Poor magpie had met its fate, and was just chilling about under a tree...all nice and dried up. Obviously I did what any sensible person would. I took it with me home and started tearing the guy apart. "Oh but Coffee what the fuck is wrong with you, being hateful to birds?!" And the answer to that is nothing. I like skulls and I'd been looking for a bird skull for a while, unsuccessfully. Now a whole, fairly clean carcass presented itself so I figured why settle for a skull when you can have the whole skeleton! Avian anatomy learning ahoy! So I've spent today ripping off dried tendon and cartilage as precisely as I could so I can process the skeleton to make it a display piece in a frame. Link to the guy (who was found in four pieces) is below as I bet I'd gain a lot of fans by embedding the source material on these forums :V https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/174686671529312256/195474884632117249/IMG_20160623_103449.jpg
