All good things must come to an end. And so did this week.

GF flew in last week and I just got back from the airport seeing her away.

An empty house is a dreadful thing. All the things just remind me of the good times we had. I have no idea when I'll see her again and it's wrecking me. I need an e-hug or something.

Poor coffee :^(

I missed you, anyway! I haven't seen you online in the past week or so, I wondered how you had been doing. Glad you had a good time!

Evidently the dutch are amending their laws to exclude these marriages, but...I am surprised they ever recognised the marriages.

I'm not familiar enough with Dutch law.

I'm guessing that either the people organising the resettlement were incompetent or, worse, sympathetic to middle eastern marital 'values', and that Dutch law didn't prevent them from settling them together because the Dutch law was simply not prepared for this situation.

It's a confederate flag fursuit. I don't know what exactly he does in it, but I'm pretty confident that spitting on it counts as cleaning.

If said opinions are racist and homophobic, I don't give a fuck. lol

Supporting Donald Trump, or owning a confederate fursuit doesn't mean somebody is a racist homophobe.

Even if somebody was a racist homophobe, spitting on them would mean you were the one in the wrong.

Actually, yes it does, lol. There are only two reasons to support Donald Trump or wear a confederate flag: ignorance or racism.

I know I'd be in the wrong, but I don't care. If they are going to actively support groups that cause untold amounts of horrors and pain to groups of race, I will find pleasure in causing them mild displeasure.

Not really, no. It would be convenient if you could dismiss anybody who disagreed with you as an ignorant racist, but that's not real life.

Even if people are racist, ignorant, homophobic, or whatever else you assume they are, following them around and spitting on them is unacceptable.

Would you admit that it would be completely reasonable for you to banned from attending future conventions if you spat on someone's fursuit?

and that it would be reasonable for the staff to consider not allowing you into a convention space in the first place, if you were posting public comments about how you were going to spit on people?

Sigh, this is just something I find frustrating about so many sanctimonious young people; that they seem to think that if somebody disagrees with them then it's completely reasonable to bully them.

To wear a Confederate flag is to openly say "I support a group who fought to keep black men and women in chains."

Again, racist, and when you're that racist I really don't care about what you want.

Yeah, I guess by that logic, being openly furry is the same as supporting bestiality.

I mean, sure, there's no -evidence- but, who needs that?!

Would you oppose dismissing anti-vaxxers, KuKlux, or coal-rollers?

I agree on questioning the spitting on them.

I fully understand there are repercussions for my actions. However I only bully bullies, and flying the Confederate flag is a form of emotional bullying, just as flying a Nazi flag is.

I know spitting on them would be bad and unacceptable, but the thing is I would sure get a kick out of his fuming racist ass getting pissed off about it.

Pfft, evidence? Our justice system only convicts on hunches, guesses and speculation, as it was intended!

Could be historical naivety, too. Thinking of "freedom" rather than the actual confeds.

I was honestly expecting you to say 'I was just joking; I would never actually spit on someone for wearing a pattern I didn't like'. :\

I agree on questioning the spitting on them.

You might be able to dismiss some people as ignorant or deluded, for example if they begin telling you that they regularly get visited by aliens or that god is talking to them through their hearing aid, but I don't think you can automatically dismiss anybody and everybody if you think they might hold a taboo point of view.

In this case...lucyfish assumes that wearing a confederate fursuit means that somebody is a racist, rather than what they probably are- a provocateur.

How would it make you feel if somebody spat on you? :\

This is third-grader morality.

I'd feel upset, of course. That's kind of the point of spitting on someone. And I have been spit at, multiple times actually. You tend to get used to it after a while.

I never said I should be ALLOWED to spit on idiots like that guy, I just said that I would. I'm not a role-model nor am I saying what should or should not be legal. I'm just saying the guy's an idiot and I'd have no qualms with getting his suit all gunked up, it'd be very funny to me, regardless of the repercussions.

on one hand, yes, something like that requires enough thought to be full on about it and a provocateur is equally as likely in this day and age. even if they support drumpf, it may be for the same reason; rebellion.

on the other hand, michigan has its' conservatives...people were chalking drumpf slogans on the sidewalks at our campus and wearing make america great hats unironically

either one is a valid possibility.

however, spitting seems unbelievably petty. "i don't like what you stand for, so i'll do this thing that will get me kicked out of the event"

Trump's family hasn't been called Drumpf since German Americans changed their names to avoid anti German Prejudice in the 20th century.

I completely agree with you that spitting on people is nasty and petty.

False equivalence.

The link

Furrys <-> Bestiality

is MUCH weaker than

Confederateflag <-> Convederates

or, if you want a less american example

edit: Swastika flag <-> Nazis<-> the Nazis crimes

"taboo point of view"

So, the Alien-guys just need to scream "You are bullying me for PC reasons!"?

edit: forgot to actual write down the other example <.<

If someone's claim is outlandish enough to demonstrate delusion, then yeah, assuming they are deluded is fair. This isn't what Lucy is doing though, she is just assuming that wearing a confederate flag, or supporting donald trump, means that she can assume loads of nasty things about you which are not implicit....and then be an absolute asshole to you for views you might not even hold.

Acomparable example might be that somebody has a swastika on their fursuit, and lucy pours coffee on them for 'supporting the nazis', only to discover that she emptied her beverage over a buddhist, or a hindu.

I don't think I would be able to whip it out and cum fast enough for it to go relatively unnoticed.

Ultimately my goal would be for the guy to have a good fun day of fursuiting and then go to his hotel room, take off the suit, and then see a huge clump of gunk on the backside and be like "What the FUCK"

Many giggles would be had from me.

But, there's no evidence for either example. So, to suggest one is more valid than the other without any actual evidence is kinda baseless.

Remind me to be wary when around you, lest I find myself with suspicious stains.
