Just a curious thing. I'm a former forum junkie. I've slowed down on that front, but I still have a bit of a presence out there and still have my regular haunts.

 

Started with Heresy Online: http://www.heresy-online.net/forums/index.php 2010 to current. Have been senior mod here for years now. Still visit daily. Still active.

Next was FAF, don't think I need to point out where that is or how it went. 

Joined Roleplayer's Guild, can't remember my account details there anymore.

Made an account on Warseer: http://www.warseer.com/forums/forum.php?s=7fa8bb28bf9905a8c8235a691f3dda7a The community there was too uptight after being accustomed to Heresy and FAF. So I didn't stick around.

Made an account on Bolter and Chainsword, Space Marine fanboy site, got myself banned for trolling by constantly hyping tyranids instead.

Worthy Christian Forums: http://www.worthychristianforums.com/Fucked around, got banned in two days. Was hilarious.

Atheist Foundation of Australia: http://www.atheistfoundation.org.au/forums/Thought I'd find some like minded people and educational experience. Instead found a bunch of pretentious twats that epitomize the worst things about non belief. Didn't stick around.

Weasyl Forums. Because at the time everyone was doing it.

I use the fur affinity forums, but there are few serious discussions on there because most people already agree with each other about everything. 

I use a forum called 'acid', and there are a couple of other furries there. A texan and I are the only 'out' furries on the website, though.

The acid forums were established after a previous forum was taken offline. A previous admin set up the new forum and everybody migrated to it (happened the same time as phoenix was made), but I have always felt uncomfortable there because the administrator had previously gotten into trouble for grooming a 13 year old on the previous forum...and nobody did anything about it because he was an administrator. He appointed the teenage girl he had groomed as a moderator on the new forum which he established. 

I'm on a UK-based body piercing/body art forum, got some good advice there and get to see some pretty sweet piercings and tattoos and other things on there.

I was on a fat admirer forum but it was full of fetishists so I let my account die.

I guess some people just come and go. 

What if you're actually registered on the same forum as somebody else but you just don't know each other's usernames?

Well, I've been on quite a few forums in my time:
 

The first forum I ever joined when I was 10 was a forum specifically focusing on Furbies. Discussions mainly focused on collecting them and fixing them. It was nice for a while, but I lost interest after a while and the forum itself sorta died out naturally. I've visited a few times recently and it's a miracle that the place is even up still.

The 2nd forum I went on was a forum specifically about Tamagotchis. I didn't go there for long, but I remember discussing the different tamas I had at the time.

The 3rd forum was Youchew, a forum for discussing Youtube Poops and such. I stayed for a while, but I recently left because the userbase is super toxic. They play favorites all the time, and the whole place is a popularity contest. If you weren't popular and didn't conform to their views (they were like Tumblr Jr. when it came to their opinions), they would do their best to make you feel like absolute garbage.

4th was the Retro Pizza Zone, and that's where I was able to discuss the Rock Afire Explosion. I left recently because the mods don't enforce any rules at all, so there's a lot of unsupervised autistic kids screeching and making lists on there.

The 5th was FAF. I joined a few days after realizing I was a furry, and I was going through quite the rough patch emotionally when I joined. I became super attached to the forum, and as some of you might remember, I was a constant debby downer. At one point I flipped the fuck out because of the spammers that invaded when all hell broke loose.

6th was Phoenix, and we know what that's like :V

7th was the Kiwi Farms. I only lasted like a month before they banned me for being underage.

8th, and the latest, is a very small branch of the Kiwi Farms called CWCKI Club. It's not very active, so I don't visit
much.

I was also a part of the Weasyl forums for a little bit, but I didn't like it much.

Thank you for posting this question, I've been genuinely curious about this.

I've been on a couple forums, but this is the only one that I didn't bore of within a week or two, or built up any sort of presence on. I like it here. There's something unique about this community, I think. 

I do hang around newFAF, but mainly just to dick off and leave a few nice comments for the newbies. I fucking hate XenForo though. 

Reddit is ok I guess but there's just too much going on and too many places to keep up with for my liking most of the time. Plus, it's rather impersonal. And their mobile apps are always messed up.

I think FAF was the first forum I was ever considered a regular of but probably not the first forum I ever joined. I was also a regular on Gaia's anime discussion board for a few years and then it got kind of boring so I left. I still go on there every once in awhile. sometimes to have legitimate conversations but also to make fun of all the dumb people on there. those are my two main ones.

I tried getting into MyAnimeLists' forums partially because I wanted to make fun of weeaboos but also because I wanted to find some other people to talk about anime with. I left after a few days. same with aarinfantasy (also because I wanted access to their videos).

every once in awhile I log onto WoW's forums. mostly to ask questions and get advice on how to not suck as much at the game.

new FAF is kind of dull so I mostly just lurk now.

and they're not forums but I used to be in a few furry Youtube groups (back when Youtube tried doing groups and it was fucking awful) and Livejournal roleplay games

I've been registered to many.

Gaia was probably my longest-running. I was on that for like 12 years or some shit, before I eventually had enough of their marketing practices, and how fucked up the site's economy got.

I was part of a Soul Reaver forum back in the day.
I had my own forum at one point.
Uh...

OldFAF.
I was on Weasyl for a while after the Chase thing happened.

And then there's this place.

If there have been others, I forgot them.

I used smashboards a lot when it was still active, and I look at reddit daily, its a nice time sink. I tried twokinds forums until I realized that the fans are douchebags and the writer is crazy, and the comic is pretty generic anyways. Good artwork though. I was on FAF and weasyl forums too, but not terribly active in either of them. Theres also a few others I don't care to name >.>

Lemme guess: it's a porn orientated forum so I'm gonna guess Fetlife or Inkbunny, maybe both. Either way I bet it has lots of cub porn.

I used to be active in a fair amount of forums though I've cut back thanks to Skype and Discord.

WiiPals/NintendoWorlds - I joined this gigantic forum back in 2008 so I can play with people when Super Smash Bros. Brawl released. I stuck around for a few years and I built a good rep, even becoming part of staff, though the place took a hit from admin and member drama sometime in 2011. Only recently did the server itself die. Now it's in internet heaven/hell.

The Sky Temple - I joined this in 2009. It's a Pokemon fan site, specifically for Articuno and Lugia, though I only joined because I wanted to find people whom I could play Pearl with. I ended up sticking around and making very close friends, and I still visit the forums every now and then. I also used to be part of staff there, but I left my position a few months ago because I didn't agree with how the site was being handled by the other mods and admins. Even now, I still don't agree.

Smashboards - Joined last year, I believe, to improve my gameplay. I don't go there often anymore because the Charizard subforum migrated to Skype, then to Discord. It's a lot more active there (and I'm an admin for the Charizard group woo).

Then there's the FA forums and Phoenix forums which I joined out of boredom. I still don't know why I'm here.

I joined a few other gaming forums as well but I don't have a presence worth noting.

Heh, I actually used to more or less frequent that forum years ago, like around 2008-2011. Was definitely surprised to see you here when I joined.

Other than that, I also used to frequent the forums for this neat lego game called Blockland. At the moment the only forums I really visit are Phoenix and reddit though.

I was on Neopets, Gaia and Neoseeker in my teen years... yuck.

Aside from here, gog.com is where I'm most active and was one of the first forums I was ever active on.  Then I occasionally post on Weasyl when there's actually some activity, and I think that's it.

Ah, Okay. I'm also Saxon on Acid. 

There are evidently more Furries there than I thought. Luro and Ridley are furries too, by the way, just not as blatantly as Arcana Mc-yiff-nugget is.

I mean, yeah, he asked me to send him my yiff folder once, and he has really bad sonic art he's saved for the purpose of making other people cringe, but like...
