I think the best way to deal with this without disrupting others in your home is to leave an applesauce/orange juice container in your room for emergencies like this. Too much of a temptation --- On other topic, I went ice fishing today with my family. You can't get fresher fish than this because we stored them in snow and put them in a cool container (like a big thermos bottle but for keeping things cool). They were still wiggling in the kitchen sink when the shot was taken. Today, there will be creamy fish soup for dinner. Female genitalia generally. 2 minutes ago, DrGravitas said: The thing is: it was blocked under the Religious category ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also the non-slang terms for those things weren't blocked. It's been a very long time since any organized group of Christians threw gay men off buildings or shot up a theatre full of people. And how exactly are Christians causing trouble in the middle East? The last time I checked Christians are a persecuted minority facing genocide over there. Btw, I don't believe in god, but I do believe that false equivalencies are a very real thing. What kind of false equivalency are you talking about, Mr Billy Mays? Radical Islam, especially Wahabbism, is trying to spread around the world much in the same way that Christianity spread through the world during the colonial times of the 1400s-1800s. And yes, I do believe that people were killed for being gay or not worshiping the right god back then. 21 hours ago, Hux said: shot up a theatre full of people wait... wait... wait.. OwO what's this? Yeah, and I specifically said Christianity today is not comparable to Islam. I leterally said that in the first sentence. That first paragraph you wrote was pointless. I never implied that Christians weren't barbaric at one point. The Aurora Shooting? I can't find anything referring to his motives. Are you assuming he's a Christian because he's a white American or something? I'd genuinely be interested to see anything describing his motives for the attack. Maybe it was religiously motivated, but I haven't seen any articles describing his motives. This an argument that's been had a dozen times by different people. From here on out I suggest we continue this argument in another thread if you're interested. https://phoenix.corvidae.org/topic/5049-laborious-religious-arguments-thread/?page=

Hux
I hate when factories try to goad different shifts against one another to increase production. All it usually does is make people more tense. It's weird that at every factory I've worked the separate shifts have always been rivals who hate each other. But those first shift guys really are a bunch of dicks. I swear they're fucking with our PPE to make us look stupid. Fuck first shift! Oh, and my razor knife is missing. Third shift must be trying to sabotage us... Maybe they're colluding with first shift to bring us down. How do we retaliate? I heard that third shift said our work is sloppy, those sneaky bastards. Maybe we could work more efficiently if those first shift douches didn't always leave a mess at out work stations. Fourth shift? Oh, they're alright I guess. I'm here to represent my tribe... Second shift. We are a proud and underappreciated people. We have long been oppressed by first shift who often leave messes and say mean things about us when we aren't around. Ignore them. The shift rivalry where I'm at is nothing compared to the pranks and shenanigans that my fellow shiftmates do to each other. Stealing and hiding PPE and equipment during break, throwing screws and shooting rivets at each other, intentionally putting parts in the wrong places so the next guy can't do his job until he fixes it. It's amazing we get anything done tbh. Man, that stuff would never fly where I used to work. We made helmets for the military and had operate two ton hot presses. Goofing around there might get somebody's head or arms crushed. It's actually kind of horrifying having to tighten the bolts on the presses because you could never really quite tell if they were tight enough. They didn't give torque wrenches or anything. I was constantly afraid something going wrong and dying a gruesome death. We didn't really prank each other at all. We always checked out other workers though. Talking about phat asses was a great way to pass the time. It's also a great way to bond with your co-workers. You never really know a guy until you know if he also thinks the girl who drives the forklift has nice legs. What exactly do you guys make if you're running around shooting rivets at each other?
