willow
It has come to my attention that some people here don't believe in using seasoning, so now I must know who among us does not believe in adding flavor to their food. who among us does not enjoy the euphoria of flavor? who among us needs to, dare I say, spice up their life? make yourself known, those of unrefined tastebuds

Snagged
Not using spices is like eating Pizza without cheese and tomato sauce Speaking of spices, I really like curry and garlic

DevilBear
I personally go through about 3 ounces of saffron a week. I use it in everything. I sprinkle it on my cereal in the morning. I put it in my coffee. I add it to my toothpaste. If I'm feeling frisky, I'll rub it all over my naked body before I go out for the night. 10/10 would recommend
Enigma
Depends on what I'm making and what I'm in the mood for. The best example for me is steak. It can be good with or without seasoning (depending on the type of cut, freshness, and diet of the cow). Though I will say I can't stand A-1 sauce. Vae
No, because I like to taste the food I'm eating, and too much extra crap just puts me off because then it becomes too busy, flavor-wise. A little salt is usually all I need. Where the poll at?
Kosha
People joke about how much spice I use, so yes. 3 hours ago, DevilBear said: I personally go through about 3 ounces of saffron a week. Another Ampers&
Unfortunately I was raised in one of those households where they served unseasoned skinless chicken and plain steamed vegetables every night (when I was allowed to eat anyway) so coming out of that I really know next to nothing about cooking :c I make mushrooms sometimes with teriyaki sauce and steak spice, and that's about it I could really use a cooking lesson ._. Little bit of barbecue sauce for dipping is all you really need for chicken. Mushrooms are good boiled in a little soy sauce, worcestershire, and a bit of beef bullion. LadyRadarEars
Spices are the difference between eating the same thing every night and having chili, gumbo, asian-style fish stew, and southern style stews, in my opinion. They are a luxury but one I am well used to having and using whenever I cook in order to make even the cheapest of things more palatable and varied enough so that I don't get weird cravings. The show Good Eats is a great show for this since it not only teaches you how to cook, but why you should cook it that way.

Fossa
I cook a lot, so yeah, I love a variety of spices. One I've become very fond of is Coriander. Oddly, it goes very well when I make bison burgers: to the ground bison, I add some freshly ground coriander, onion salt, paprika and black pepper, and it has a nice synergy, the slight gaminess of the bison against the sort of 'cirtussy' coriander. Not sure why it works, but it does. I also like fennel, both the seeds and the bulbs. And a lotta other spices.

LazerMaster5
Seasoning makes the difference between a decent pork chop and an amazing pork chop. A nice dry rub goes a long way. Chicken is fucking amazing when marinated in Civetta's. Steak is great when seasoned and given steak sauce. Spices really make certain dishes pop. If you don't use seasonings, spices, or sauce, you are a boring motherfucker.
