You work at Wal-Mart, broseph?

If I did, I'd have painted the walls of my room with my brains a long time ago. :V  No, I deliver pizzas (shit job, good money, strange stories) for a corporate franchise owned by what I am led to believe is a "dudebro". This guy thinks there's too many people employed at most of the stores, and is chopping folks.

Most of the times i can agree to that but i don't think that's really the case all the time. Some jobs are that shit its not even worth the money. Trust me i know from experience

Well, I got Ulysses back home this afternoon. For those who are curious, it cost me a thousand dollars USD to go from this:

to this:

My poor Ulysses. The stitches from the two radical mastectomies he underwent yesterday won't come out for ten days. You can see that he's going to be miserable for every minute of it. :(

The larger of the masses has been sent to the lab for a cytology report. I'm really, really hoping that it comes back as a benign mass. It's scary to think that something like cancer might take him away from me.

We should make Phoenixed Motorsports a thing. We can race shitty cars and be goofballs about it.

Wait. Don't you need a racing license for this kind of stuff?

Also, great reasons for prices: "track insurance, on-site ambulance crew, commemorative crap"

I could get a racing license, no problem. It is a dream of mine to go auto racing, and this is the cheapest and silliest way to go racing. Also, botched LS swaps galore.

I started reading the demands, and they included bringing segregation back.

Sadly, a lot of that thinking is pretty much normative at this point. The real crazy begins when they start talking about giving a small group of students control over curriculum and hiring decisions.

Tell me about it. The South African man leading the charge to have a statue of Cecil Rhodes removed from my University is himself a recipient of the Rhodes scholarship.

Students were also recently campaigning to 'decolonise' the curriculum because apparently all subjects, every last one, was riddled with eurocentrism and tacit white supremacy.

They've even demanded that tutors should be sent to racial-sensitivity training work shops to combat their 'unconscious racism' when selecting candidates, even though research failed to show any statistically significant advantage for white candidates to be selected over anybody else.

A woman actually linked me to that research claiming it proved her point...evidently having not read the paper herself. ._.

...I just don't know how the crazies end up getting into positions of such notoriety that they can end up have a realistic chance of dismantling university policy.

I think it's because, in recent history, universities have tended to rely on appeasement when dealing with students. Now they've finally hit a point where the demands are so far beyond reason that it isn't even possible to come to any sort of middle ground. The problem is also exacerbated by the lack of any sort of organized counter-movements on these campuses, which leads to completely one-sided public debates.

Kittens are cute and you can herd them with food. Furries however...

Yeah, you can he'd them with porn, but someone's going to cause dissension by complaining that the porn isn't good enough, a nasty fetish, or just to complain.

next I wish thread I see and I am going to start moderating that person's posting content. >:V

Okay this sucks. I get a book for a management class. Normally the BRAND NEW book comes with an access code. Normally most classes don't need the access code.

Of course only one teacher teaches this class and this bitch requires the access code.
Of course, the "NEW" book I buy does not have it.
Of course, to get the access code independent of the book costs more than the book.

God I love the tyranny of the college textbook industry. If we just seized the means of production in a worker's uprising it would all be okay.

Old Cecil is probably rolling in his grave so much, you could fit a Dynamo to his coffin and provide power to all of Zimbwabe.

Welp.
I think I may be suffering from depression. Actually, not sure if it's due to lack of sleep, a seasonal winter "funk" or straight on depression.

I come to this conclusion because I spend most of my days doing nothing outside of work, not giving a shit about anything, not caring about anything. I'm surprised I was able to get the motivation to do ONE class, and I'll probably fail that too.

If you think it's a seasonal thing, try light therapy. Works for me alright, just make sure to get a decent one and not some cheap-o Chinese garbage.
