Didn't get the reference. You can kill me now.

It's actually not that hard.

Kinda NSFW, it's mostly censored but it's still not recommended for the more squeamish users

Edit: Ok, I'll take that back, this is fucking brutal, be advised

It's actually not very difficult to break a board that thick. I've seen kids as young as 10 do it, albeit with their feet and not their hands. That kind of wood usually does snap like that when you kick it, you can see how it broke with the grain.

I'm slowly working on making some kind of gaming corner full of things I like, but I spent enough recently so I'm done for now.

I and my brother just tried to open savings accounts and transfer money from existing accounts into them...and they somehow managed to open 6 accounts under the name of my twin and they sent me 3 letters of rejection and one letter of acceptance, even though no accounts had been opened under my name.

WHAT

THE

FUCK

GUYS?

So I had an hour-long walk up into town with someone so she could buy a bus pass

Only to find the place was closed

So we walked all the way back

And yesterday I pulled a muscle in my leg so I was practically limping the whole way today for two hours

I had a fun day out, you guys

I was in a rush this morning, so I popped over to McDonald's to get a quick bite.  In and out in less than 10 minutes, that sort of thing.  All I ordered was a Big Breakfast and a coffee.  It took 15 minutes just to get my order, and by that time they let the drive-through queue back up so far that it took another 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot.

Also, with no jam for the biscuit, a flavorless sausage patty, and a sheet of I think scrambled eggs as tough as the Styrofoam plate, I forgot and re-learned the hard way why I call them "Icky Mickey's."

Overnight/morning shift has to be the stupidest people McDonalds hires. I think it's just the people that are bad employees but they're being too nice to fire them. I don't know. I had to wait 20 minutes at one McDonalds at 11pm. There were 5 cars in front of me, so almost 5 minutes per car.

And these assholes want $15 an hour. Work faster and get off your phones and I'll give that to you. Or maybe upping the wages will weed out the idiots who can't work properly.

This one here is staffed by nice people, and the most competent ones are actually the ones who deal with customers.  What most often happens here to make experiences bad are upper-management and corporate decisions.

Interestingly enough, there's a Burger King almost just next door, and the staffing situation there is a lot more stereotypical.

Probably the worst, though, was Denny's.  It got so bad up and down the chain with respect to quality, cleanliness, and competence that the franchise closed without warning literally overnight.

See, this is the kind of thing I badly want but probably couldn't afford.

@Caledonian, when I said I wanted a smock with my steampunk outfit, this is the kind of smock I meant... which probably costs $500!

So I went to the disco tonight. And it sucked. The music was too loud other than downright horrible, the people were uninteresting and there was barely any space for movement. What I disliked is just how awkward it is to ''dance'', if we can even call it that, and trying to hook up with someone. Strong drinks don't do it for me either: I had to force myself to swallow this rum & cola that I got. Bleah. Thank you but I'll stick with beer, Heineken plis. But the worst part was, as mentioned, the music and just how loud it was. It was so relieving to get out of there even if I could barely hear anything. Or rather, my hearing had become very muffled and when I went to bed not only did my ears still hurt but I could still hear this ringing sound. Having already been to a disco once I shoulda known better. This is the final nail in the coffin anyway. Discos suck

The most interesting part was when I had to enter the place. So there was this bouncer, right? I was frankly a bit intimidated: guy was tall, big, bald and with a beard. Me and this classmate I went with had a couple of blokes in front of us. Their group was decimated: two weren't allowed in because they didn't meet the dress code's requirements (for the boys shirts were mandatory) and the rest weren't allowed because they didn't look old enough. My mate went forth and got through easy as he had already been there a couple of times and was thus known by the staff. Then it was my turn: I step forward, he takes a look at me for what seemed more than just 3 seconds and said ''Ok''. Apparently I looked old enough so yay I guess. I was also lucky: didn't have any documents with me that could confirm my age. It took us a long walk to get there and it would have really sucked if I had gone all the way there to be denied right on the last part.

So yeah, night sucked but I did do something different at the very least. I'll stick with my basement, thank you lol

Also, I saw this:

Okay this is some weird shit. I just noticed an Opera icon on my desktop, along with a shortcut that says "BestOffer EveryDay". Don't know how either one got there. The last thing I had done was install VLC from download.com, as VLC's actual website wasn't allowing me to download anything.

Both the Opera and the BestOffer are shortcuts to an "Opera" folder in Program Files... I doubt either one is actually Opera.

I decided to install malwarebites as well as my current antivirus... and just found out Malwarebites is now a pay program.... fucking shit.

Edit: malwarebites and another program says there's nothing. Might run a third one.

My sisters decided they'd rather stay home on their laptops instead of trying out that new restaurant. I just got a taste about what it's like to have kids who don't want to do something with you anymore. Like ouch that stings. It was nice being a cool brother while it lasted. >_>;

I think one of my least favorite youtube reviewers is Razorfist...

His videos mostly suck, with only a few moments of quality that make you think you like his stuff, only to trick yourself into watching the other 70% of his stuff that is pure garbage.

Most of me going out with my parents is three things

a) Picking up mom from work

b) getting food or working

c) shopping

I'm a middle child myself and I remember the time when I stopped hanging around my older sister and wanted nothing to do with her. I can see both sides of this really, from hindsight. I just hope I can be closer to them and around more than my older sister was for me, I haven't said a word to her since she had her wedding months ago. I legitimately like them and I want to somewhat be their friend...

I guess it's a bit different for me haha

I'm very close with my sister, and me and my older brother have an all right relationship when I want us to.

I mean, I'm normally the child that stays home on their laptop anyway so.. maybe I don't have enough good insight for you :/

I'm the oldest of 8 kids by a 5yr gap and I wonder quite frankly why any of them want anything to do with me. I don't spend as much time with them as i should. I need to work on that...

Well I'm usually the type to stay home myself. I don't mind them deciding that as well, but I do want to keep on some kind of friendly level with them until they grow up enough to realize that I'm trying... but even then I'm kinda growing closer to one of them than the other, them being twins...

It'll take a while, but I'm sure they'll both warm up to you :)

It's not always easy, I have a younger brother too, but I hardly relate to him so It's much harder. I don't hate him by any means but we're never really going to be close. I'm child 3/7 and I only really get along well with the twins. I guess it's not a given that everyone is tight.

I bet you accidentally enabled the free trial of MBAM Pro.  It was one of the last two checkboxes on the Finish page of the installation wizard, and it's a dark pattern.

After you take care of your current malady, uninstall MBAM, get the mbam-clean tool from here to nuke it completely, then install MBAM again: https://support.malwarebytes.org/customer/portal/articles/1835311-how-do-i-uninstall-malwarebytes-anti-malware-?b_id=6438

Untick the "Enable free trial of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Pro" checkbox at the end, and you'll have the actual free version.

If the company can't be trusted to perform the basic task of uninstalling its software properly the first time, I don't think I'd ever trust them to protect my system.

I haven't seen a Windows application's uninstaller clean up all its settings since 1993.
