Caledonian
Do you have to brush a beard? Or does it naturally fall straight? It's midnight and I'm wondering.
Endless/Nameless
I've never known of any guys who brush their beard except to unmuss it a bit. It's a pretty stable piece of work. Fun Fact: if I grow mine out, it starts to veer off to the right. I don't know why.
Falaffel
I have no idea if you need to, but it does straighten it out just a bit and feels nice.
Dr. Doggo
Some people have curly beards, others have straight beards. Beards are hijacked by "lumbersexual" skinny hipster faglords wearing fake glasses anyway so who cares about them nowadays? I don't know how anyone can feminize a beard, but boy, did they manage it.
Zerig
i dunno i never let mine get long enough to need to brush it
TrishaCat
I don't do anything to my beard. I just shave it after it gets long enough.
DevilBear
I use a short bristle brush on mine, along with a blend of essential oils to keep the skin moisturized. I keep mine trimmed shortish (around an inch on the chin to half an inch on the sides) which helps to eliminate split ends. I wash my face daily, which is why I supplement with the essential oils. I also try to eat a healthy diet and exercise which is good for beard health and overall health as well.
#00Buck
Brush it gently with a razor and some shaving cream and everything will be better.

Faust
Mine's too short for a brush as I prefer a goatee. Sometimes I comb it if it's especially unruly, but it rarely requires it. I shampoo mine too. It's not a necessity like it is with regular hair, but it does make a difference in my case. Nice and soft. Not thinking of growing one, are you? SkyboundTerror
Mine curls so I have to brush it, though I haven't grown out my beard to the point where I have to brush it. Not in years, anyhow. I try to keep it short and trim it every few days.

LadyRadarEars
Most of what I know about beard care comes from this one video a sword-guy I watch made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP0QEpl6FVA (Here's the link if you're curious.)
Guest
My SO has to brush his and use a bit of beard oil. He uses condish in the shower, too. Its super bushy but it looks lovely on him.
FlynnCoyote
They're horrible and just unnecessary maintenance. I don't let mine get anywhere near long enough to need brushing.

Osrik
I keep my facial hair relatively short, so I do not really need to brush it, but it does have a tendency to curve to the right if it gets longer.
Revates
My facial hair is terrible, so I stay clean shaven. I wish I could have a pretty beard like my boyfriend.

Zaraphayx
I had a foot long homeless man beard once upon a time and I just washed it and brushed it out like my regular hair. Apparently there's like beard oils and shit but I never used them. Paging @Onnes to this thread as he possesses the master beard.

Onnes
I think it depends on what kind of beard you have. Mine has extremely thick hairs, so simply brushing it doesn't actually do anything. I just wash it daily to keep it untangled.
Fossa
I'm scared of beards. And moustaches, especially like the ones The Village People had, that standard 'cop' type one still sees actual police having, for reasons I've never grasped.
Pignog
Onnes' beard is indeed majestic ive stayed clean-shaven for work the last several years, which is good because my neckbeard looks disgusting
