Post Your Bucket List

I'd like to:

  • See a clear blue ocean, not the muddy-looking waters I've been to.
  • See snow fall in person.
  • See a beautiful, clear night sky, with as little light pollution as possible.
  • Go camping in a place surrounded by nature, without relying on too many comforts of home (so, no trailers or outhouses as I've been accustomed to).

I can't think of more at the moment, but they're probably mostly nature-related things.

It gets old. It gets really, really old.

I didn't mean it as an always thing, at least once would be enough.
Constant sunshine gets really old, too.

I suppose another, non-nature related thing on my bucket list would be to make some sort of epic costume and wear it to a convention, haha. Would most likely be something Metal Gear related.
I would also like to be able to do a group cosplay with my friends someday. I keep having people saying they're interested, but no one ever comes through. :\

That does remind me. One of my co-workers a long time ago just came to Chicago from India mere months before, and the first time it snowed he spent his entire break staring out the window in stunned silence. It was kinda heartwarming. I only like looking at it when it is my day off.

Aw, that's kinda sweet. I wonder if I would be mesmerized like that too, haha.
I imagine the snow loses its charm if it's a regular occurrence where you live, though.

I believe you will find the dreamiest, sweetest woman that you can just enjoy the company for years on end and will get you the HELL off in the sack. I swear, if you're anything IRL like you present yourself online, I feel your waiting is seriously going to pay off before too long if you don't rush the search.

Go to Payson, AZ and live in the woods.

Ahhhhhh I love Payson! Flagstaff is also a really, really nice place. Gives off the 'small town in the woods' vibe while also having a whole buncha shit to do :U

I've officially put 'move to Flagstaff in Jan 2017' on the hypothetical table of my relationship, when he gets back from his study abroad in Japan, so WE'LL SEE. Crossin my fingers.

As for my own bucket list, it's pretty short. Travel a lot and love a lot. Include way too many animals in my life. Be happy. Idk it's lame.

Fuck u at whoever said snow gets old

Re: cows

If you haven't seen a cow in person, do it. Search up county fairs or something

the are MASSIVE. They are LITERALLY  the size of a car. You underestimate how big a cow is until you see one in person

they have short fur that is smooth. Very friendly and sweet and will lick your hands

Seeimg a ciw in person is something everyone should do, espexially if you eat beef or dairy products

they actuallu dont smell, at least not to me

i was in a barn full of em. Must have been about 100 heifers, jersey and holstein

pigs are another animal you gotta see. MASSIVE!!! very curious and friendly. Very rough hair that feels like brillo pad. Like big meaty dogd

sheep are like deer, they mostly kewp their distance

pig and cow are bigger than a doe, if any of you have seen or pet a dor in person

cow could crush a deer into smithereens easily

Many chickens in a barn smell worse than barn of cows

Cows snell like "petting zoo"

I agree with the smell thing. I loooove how horses smell. But cows? Ehhhh. My college was right up the road from a dairy farm so once in a while we'd get hit with cowshitsmell and it was just terrible. They are cute though, regardless.

Now you wanna talk about animals you gotta see at least once in your life... Motherfucking capybaras. THEY ARE. SO CUTE. Giant guinea pigs. They make the squeaking noises and everything. Weird, brittle 'fur'. They act like dogs and you can even keep them as pets in some places and I tell you what I am moving and owning a capybara at some damn point in my life. They baaaaark and love scratches and I love kissing their little noses omg. There's a wildlife park in Oregon that has them and I want to steal them all away.

I was at a show here for that kind of thing. We saw some top prize-winning cows from all over the country. They had bulls, too.

No fences or anything, we could all go up to them in the open.

They were so fucking huge, man. They were like... dinosaurs or something.
